Ugh, I'm dead... what possessed me to not bother with futon mattress? The cushions from garden chair didn't offer comfort (i suspect they are rubber coated, sweated half to death.
.. and striker has my fleece? So I cooked in mummy sleeping bag, like a shroud!

Thanks for checking djs I'm still having agonies deciding where to pitch up... I'm fretting in case its 100% sunshine and my tent gets like an oven and if I should camp under a tree for shade, or will there be midges as the trees are by the river.... or near the loo's as I spend most the night walking to and from them or will that be noisy as others will be back and forth to loo's ..... or by Jon/social area so I'm in the hub of all the goings on and then I might not be able to sleep later as the partys going on ...  Seriously I'm such a worrier! |

Of course I had a rubbish nights sleep, i'm a poor sleeper at the best of times, but it was so clammy and hot last night (or is it my age?) As all our windows were open to catch a breeze, any noise (for 3 miles) unsettled the dog, who decided to be extra vigilant, and barked his head off at everything and anything, and I kept waking up thinking of random camping things I still needed to organise...... sods law! My latest worry is 'did I dry my tent properly at end of last vapefest?' or am I going to unravel it and find mouldy holey fabric and have to sleep in my car...  |

It was always USD and we pay in USD too so i've no clue why its changed all of a sudden

Exactly djs I had all the paperwork to show mine was under threshold, the post office showed me my parcel but couldn't give it me  I was tempted to go through all the hoops on principle but i couldn't face teh effort right on top of vapefest. Well done you on going all the way through the system and getting it sorted  |

All the gear I own, and I just went and rooted out my daughter old MVP3 to go with my MVP4 because I just know the built in battery lasts forever  I am bringing one billet box (8 batteries) and I want you all to make me put it away at night - before I'm too drunken.... I do NOT want to bounce it! |

There is space for hanging about, what time does ticket say for gates opening, I know it used to be 4pm but I saw 6pm on some literature (i dont think they are very formal, know i just sailed in last year and security just waved at me!)

I'm probably timing my arrival for 4pm, as the gates open, so I can get pitched up and sorted in time for the descending hoards! Every year it makes me laugh that the last place in toqn I drive past is the premier inn and theres always loads of vapers sat outside drinking and catching up with mates, you are probably one of them River  |

I opened a ticket with fasttech, and tried to keep explanation as simple as possible and got their normal chinglish reply, they will resend parcel with correct (or lower) price stated.... they asked would my parcel get sent back to them, so I said yes, but I'm not sure if i'll be waiting for it to get back before they resend, but i'll give it a shot!

Thats a handy offer! thanks for finding and posting tcg69 I remember trying their blackcurrant menthol a few years back, and liking it, but been nervy about ordering their concentrates in case my taste buds have drastically altered (which seems the case 90% of the time) Picking up a samples pack at a reasonable price will let me know what I think of their juices and then I can pick up concentrates if I really like them  |

Know what you mean Lee, I've literally spent all week packing, I must have 20x more than is need for a Spanish week long holiday...and vapefest is 3 days/2 nights!
My boot and back seat is full and I've only got snacks packed, I'm packing light and still got a car full!

I generally buy nothing if its non UK, a few rare examples were EU based billet box bits, which I took a desperate punt on as there's so little I can buy locally, thankfully they have sailed through our postal service.
I do accept that you take your chances, and I've paid customs on USA based stuff (billet box vapour, £50+ for billet box) but I do begrudge being charged for China imports and especially when under threshold!
Thank God for classifieds I say, both forum and facebook, but then you run the gauntlet of trusting a random seller. We are very lucky here on AAEC that as a small and cosy group we know each other and there'very few incidents
