interesting read River.
These reports always have me laughing or getting mad or sometimes both lol
The authors of these articles most often seem well meaning but then get there info from really bad sources.

What Batteries are you using hissie and where did you get em from?
There does seem to be a few cheap - knock off batteries around at the moment.
Yours are probably just fine but just thought it wise to eliminate this possibility on route to finding your vaping nirvana

Cartos will last anything between 2-10 days depending on your usage, the type of juice you use and just how fussy you are. There are also some variations from carto to carto and between different brands of carto.
Hope this is all making sense because often too much info in one go can just get confusing and sometimes can be intimidating

Hi Deesigner, thank you for your advice. I've looked cartomisers up, and now I'm confused...lol Do you use them instead of a cartridge, or instead of an atomiser? Or is it 2 in 1? The way I think I understand it is it's a cart with a much bigger capacity...is that it? A cartomiser is an atty and a cart all in one - That's a little simplified explanation but good enough for the moment. With the starter kits you basically get the atties and carts for free - so you may as well try them. Then if you getting on well with it you can decide on whether you want to try cartomisers or get some more spare atties and what juices u may like to try over the coming days an weeks.

Thanks all for replying! So I would need to order more juice soon then, that's ok as it's quite cheap anyway. What about atomisers and batteries, ie: how many do I need to be ok for a couple of months? Also, will the 10 empty cartridges supplied with the kit last me that long? How often can you refill a cart before having to replace it? River, thank you for your offer! I think I would be more comfortable buying from a shop at this point...newbie paranoia and all! lol Cheers though. x Well Batteries will probably be fine for a few months, maybe more. Atties ( atomisers ) you'll probably need to budget on 1 per week many people get longer than this but this is a safe place to start. The empty carts ( cartridges ) can be washed out and reused so will last for ages - so no worries there. Try the kit and juice you've decided on ( whether that be from river, LF or someone else ) If your gettin on well then you can ask here for advise and do a little more research on other stuff as you go.

Dell i'd go mad if I went through that much juice in a day lol. The ego that River is selling is almost the same as a Riva, I think, and he was offering a fair bit of stuff with it too. hahahaha well I go though about 7mls a day but I know that isn't normal lol The offer from river is indeed a good one and I know river to be a good trustworthy guy but a random guy who's new to the forum doesn't know that and I thought max was more after reassurances that his purchase was a reasonable one. His choice of who/where to buy from is indeed his choice. BTW welcome to the forum Max and good luck on making the switch to e-cigs

Sounds like you've done your homework well Max
I would go ahead and order, you will need to order some more juice after a few days as 10mls won't last too long, but you have enough there to get ya started.
You can make a more informed decision on juice after you've tried two juices.
As a rough guide 3mls of juice per day is normally plenty
