sleedale i had the same sort of problems.... got one after all the hype about spinners, so got the spinner2 (an upgrade from my evods) and all i have to say is....... a week after i got it, i made the switch and have been using mech's ever since and i wouldn't go back..... HATED the spinner2, my year old 650 mah evods outlasted it and i was only using it at 3.7volts. And it took hours and hours to charge!! ???

Hi Mrsmac i have a GP clone and i also have a stingray clone, i prefer the brass stingray over my GP clone, I just find that the button on the GP is a bit of a pain, as it can be adjusted by spinning the button for the throw etc, but i find that the more you use it the more the button works back round and leads to firing problems. The Brass stingray button is pretty good, yeh sometimes a bit clicky and sticky as geordie_vaper said but no problems really. I also have a stingray x and the button is horrendous again as Marcus said, ive also heard that the penny mod (clone) has a great switch. Hope that give you some help? I would go for an older stingray or try a penny clone or as marcus says try the colonial. |

goneforagasper i think it's backups for backups, i moved completely over to rebuildable's as soon as i got my kayfun set up correctly (a few attempts mind, but helped out so much on aaec) and it was like........... WTF, for me so much better than the protanks etc that i had been using, i now have 4 kayfuns, 2 Rose V2's, Tobh, Magama & Tugboat RDA's too!! And i have never looked back to be honest, i love everything about rebuildables, but if you can rebuild for your aerotanks then im sure you'll be fine, but maybe treat yourself to a kayfun or similar for a couple of pounds from FT or Focal, give it a go, you might like the result?

Thanks for all your help people , i have just had an email from James at Bay City Vapour, and they no longer make that part  But he did say this: What most users are doing is modifying the center pin on the atty so that it protrudes just a bit. The atty that most folks do this to is the Quasar. I believe you can press the center pin further down in the atty so it protrudes just a bit from the 510 connector. I will of course give the kayfun connection parts that wight a go and see if i get anywhere, so i guess i'll just have to get a couple of builds on my atties that have the protuding pin!! Thanks for having a look geordie_vaper i have a couple of atties that will work in hybrid mode as the pins are long enough and extend beyond the negitive, just thought there may be a fix or that someone would know where to get the deralin type thing, i looked on ft too!! blurgh!! |
