Evening folks, I don’t post much at all these days for obvious reasons but just wanted to wish all you lovely people a very happy Christmas.

Just a little update.

I’ve planted all the plants up in baskets and put them right round the perimeter apart from the shallow beach end as I need to fill the pond up further before putting a few in that end.

I’ve cut the liner and underlay right back, finished 90% of the walling and dug out all the grass around the perimeter ready to cement the paving slabs in place.

Just need to decide how I’ll finish the section where the waterfall is going, likely big rockery stones cemented to the shelf then I can get it filled right up and lay the slabs.

After that just the water fall to sort and a power supply to run for the pump and filter, oh and I need pebbles for the shallow beach end.

Either none or very few goldfish.

Lots of digging to do although I had some mechanical assistance.



Never used a digger before, how hard can it be
