After starting with an ego and a ce4. Then a twist. Onto a vv lavatube with a carto tank. Back onto a twist and a mini Protank. Which I still go back to now and again. Then just before Christmas a vtr that I love. Now as I've been a good boy and my birthday is coming up I've just treated myself to a caravela. My fist step into mechanical mods. The vaping addiction has taken over. And I can't stop buying juice. I can't wait to hit the year mark.

Forgive my stupidness. A 510 connection is like a screw thread without the sleeve. And a ego has the sleeve that screws onto the battery. Am I right?

I've just bought an itaste ep for my wife. But the iclear 10's that came with it have a rubbery taste. The drip tip is rubber. Is there anything else out there that's small and will fit without having to buy an ego connector. Thanks for reading.

Update. I've been using the vtr for a couple of days. It's bloody heavy. Not a fan of the iclear 30s. Protank 3 sits nice on the vtr. Vapes great. Just filled up with snake oil. Blew my head off.

Or another analogy is CRUISE CONTROL VW = Cruise control on (keeps the output/speed steady) even if you hit a hill (resistance changes) VV = Cruise off - you use the accelerator (change the voltage manually) to get to the speed you want. HTH Or vaping for numptys.

My head hurts. I grasp the principle but don't understand why you would want both settings. Wouldn't it be easier just to have the one? Sorry for all the newbie questions.

I get it now. I have bought various heads at different ohms and have a basic understanding of what works for me. 1.8 at about 3.2v 2.0 at about 3.8v 2.2 at about 4-4.2v. It does vary on juices though. Thanks for clearing that up.
