The first part arrived already, a TI PTN04050CAD. It is best suited to being a 3.7V booster to achieve that lovely 5V output. It can however be made to have a range between about 4.5 to 6.5 V which is nice. I notice some people got several as free samples but texas instruments only let me have one - wonder if they've noticed all the free samples they've been giving out and are now limiting the freebies. Anywho, I'll play with it once other parts arrive and let you know how I get along - it's really small so could even fit in the 2AA case alongside a single 14500 battery which is nice. Can only make one though since I only blagged one chip. Have used a few of these chips got my last lot from ti free yesterday,You have to order all the range the only difference is the solder pin length here is a good circuit diagram |

Mine has never fallen apart i have taken it apart pulls apart quite easy but i have never had it fall apart lol.

I have had mine about a month and love it vapes for 2 days straight running an lr306 only fault i found is if you push to much juice into the atty leaks around atty connection built solid imho love it.
