Solubarome Brazilian Coffee is good, most aren't.
Speaking as another coffee snob who uses different beans depending on where I am.
In West Aberdeenshire (water loaded with iron and manganese), the Kenyan beans I use where the water is drinkable make horrible coffee. You need a much darker roast - Ethiopian burnt beans work there.
In London - just use cat crap, the water will drown anything better.

I'm still on the original stock coil. TBH the RBA bit looks very fiddly. One day I'll build it....

Also, instead of making a new thread, has anyone tried the Youde Zephyrus subohm tank? I hear they've now solved their leakage problem (apparently it only happened on the first production run), and I like a bit of subohming, especially when it's beer night I have. I like it a lot. It isn't as good on flavour as a tiny dripper but is good. It's a thirsty brute though.

I'd reckon 50-70W is as far as I'd want to go on a single 18650. Many manufacturers seem to reckon that the maximum discharge current of 18650s is rather higher than the cell manufacturers do. If your cell has a 20A rating, that is a maximum of 4.2x20=88W from a fully charged cell. The current draw can only go up as the voltage drops. And this assumes the regulation circuitry doesn't have any power losses. These are probably in the 10-20% bracket so now we are looking at 22A to get 88W.
You really would be better finding a suitable lipo as they are designed for very high discharge rates. I have one in front of me slightly larger than a pair of 18650s that is rated to 348A continuous discharge.

You don't need to mess around - just remove the AFC ring. I can't imagine anyone wanting less air than the maximum. OK, mine is coiled at 0.421 ohms...

Try solubarome's brazilian coffee. Nice! But mix at way stronger than 2%
As a standalone flavour 15% with 85% VG works.
Nescafe/Kenco/Starbucks are what gets scraped out of cat litter trays..
Try proper coffee.

Not bad at all Perpetua Do you know if the glass syringes need sellotape on to stop the markings rubbing off or is it just the cheapo plastic ones that do this? My glass ones saw heavy use till I got into using scales instead. The markings are as good as the day they were new - they aren't printed on as with plastic ones but are usually etched into the glass.

Finally arrived - the pre-order Lethal clone. Should be good to 0.06 ohms or thereabouts with three 25R cells. That's too many watts for me though - the Velocity is coiled around 0.2 ohms.

So is it possible to do a silica wick build in a rose? Perfectly. Mine have never had anything else in them.

It's gvc clone but my kraken at .4 destroys it and the cotton in the rose dulls it slightly. Anyone tried silica with a traditional coil in them? Yes. But at 0.3 ohms. VaperCaper custard survives that just fine. Most others don't.

The usual recommendation is a silica wicked atty at 1.5-1.8 ohms. And a low wattage.
Or in other words just about anything that isn't a dripper.
The Erlkonigin or its clones work well

Given the dangerously poor design of the fire mechanissm on Stingrays - I'd buy neither. I lost a far from cheap jacket on the auto firing mess. It was on fire when I got it off me.

Should be.
If it takes more switch movement to fire it is a lot less likely to auto fire
