My 20ml one is BD Plastipak and nearly a year old, but that too has started to stick, so ordered another. None of the markings have come off, but I suppose you get what you pay for. I also have some glass syringes, but find that the outlet is very restricted and difficult to draw with thick vg heavy juices, so don't tend to us it. Good to know that about the glass syringes Bobsbeer. I might just get some plastic ones for the VG then and maybe use glass ones for the other stuff. To be honest, my 10ml BD Plastipak syringe does stick slightly at certain points but not enough to bother me and it's certainly lasted a lot better than my other syringes.

doveman , wrap some clear Sellotape around the syringe body, works a treat. I have a 20ml and a 10ml syringe that get weekly use, both over a year old, and the markings are as clear as when they were popped out of the protective packing they arrived in. As I usually mix at least 100ml, if not considerably more, I have a couple of plastic mixing beakers, one x 100ml and one 250ml, and they are a godsend for measuring larger quantities of bases, and they pour really well too. Loads around on eBay! Thanks chykensa , I was going to buy some nail polish but I'll try sellotape first as I've already got that As for the beakers, I'm concerned that just like the cylinders they'd be harder to measure something like 47ml with than syringes but I'll probably pick up a couple and give them a go.

Cheers. I think I'll buy some of each, it's not like they cost much and then I can experiment!

Just put clear nail varnish over the graduation marks on the syringes and they don't rub off. Good tip. I'm still not sure about getting those ones from Vapable though as reviews say they start sticking after a while, so if anyone can recommend a good source for long-lasting 1ml and 5ml syringes I'd appreciate it.

I guess that's an option but I can see it being a bit fiddly trying to get the right amounts, as if you add too much you'd have to pour some out, which will be hard to be precise about, whereas using a syringe you can just squeeze a bit out slowly.

I'm just ordering my next batch of flavours from Vapable and I need to get some new syringes. The 10ml ones I've got are marked BD Plastipak and they're fine, the plunger's not sticking after a year of use and only the 10 marking has faded slightly, where my finger's been rubbing on it I guess. The green 6ml ones, which are marked Braun Inkjet, are awful though, they're very stiff now as they don't have the black rubber bung inside them that the 10ml ones have. The markings haven't faded though. With the 1ml ones that I use just for Nic (I can't read the brand name anymore), all the markings above 0.7 have pretty much rubbed off and the plunger gets a bit stiff above 0.5ml. Vapable sell some syringes that look like my 10ml ones with the black plunger but the reviews say the markings rub off very easily and they start to stick after a while, so can anyone recommend any long-lasting 1ml and 6ml syringes? I'm currently mixing 30ml bottles but I'm thinking of going to 100ml to save time, as then I can just pour in 2*10ml bottles of flavour (either both the same or two different ones) rather than syringing up 6ml (or 3/3 if I'm mixing a 50/50 flavour). I guess I'd want some 50ml syringes to do that, as I'd be using 30ml PG and 47.2ml VG. If I want to do a 15%/5% flavour mix, that would be 15ml and 5ml so I could use 10ml and 5ml syringes for that (well just 5ml really, as I could just pour a whole 10ml bottle in then just add the 5ml). Can anyone recommend some good 50ml syringes and 100ml bottles? I have this weird problem with my 30ml bottles when I take them out with me. I keep them wrapped in a carrier bag and in my inside breast pocket, so they should stay mostly upright but whenever I get to wherever I'm going and take them out I find they've leaked a bit and made the bag and bottles all sticky. They've got tips in them, it's not like the top is wide open under the cap, so I don't really understand why this is happening and can only hope that I can get some 100ml bottles that don't do this. I'm currently vaping a Kanagar Subtank Mini (>30W) on a Clouper Mini but I've got an IPV D2 (>75W) my friend gave me. I can't go above 20w with the Subtank before it tastes burnt though, so what tank/coils would be good for the IPV? I do find fitting the coils (pre-built) on the Subtank a bit fiddly as you have to bend each end round the screws, which isn't too bad once you've done one end but trying to hold the unattached coil steady whilst doing the first end is awkward, so maybe something with holes to poke the ends through would be easier. I've been told the Smok TFv4 is a good tank but looking at the "How to rebuild the RBA" guide on their website, it seems to be exactly the same as the Subtank www.smoktech.com/atomizer/tfv4

I guess not. Maybe someone should remove their code from the list, so that people don't take the discount into account when deciding where to order from, only to find the code doesn't work once they get to the checkout.
They still have very competitive prices anyway, so might still be the best choice but it saves time if people have accurate information about who has working discount codes.

blutack small flavour bottles down if nervous about spilling while drawing off a measure, 5m of fish tank airline hose for less than 4 x drawing needles, which is enough to cut over 40 lengths the same length as a drawing needle, and while not sterile, if its safe for fish keeping its pretty damn inert as fish will die just looking thru the glass at something toxic.. www.amazon.co.uk/METRE-AQUARIUM-LINE-Fish-Airline/dp/B003ZII5TCSticking down the flavour bottles sounds like a good idea, I'll have to try that and see how long it takes me to stick them down properly. I don't really need any drawing needles or tubing now that I'm using the tubs but at that price I might as well buy some and try and find a use for it

Am I the only one that just pours out my bases into cups and syringes out of there? Just bought some small plastic throw away medicine dosing cups, sit the cups in front of the bottles on a tissue, decant PG/VG & Nic into them, use for the mixing session, chuck what's left back into the bottles and bin the plastic cups, job done, no washing them up as they are so cheap and I am a cheapskate I've never had a problem syringing any of my bases either and I don't use needles, the thickest VG still sucks straight up into a 1ml syringe no problem and I am precise most of the time unless of course I pick up a 10ml syringe (instead of 5ml) for my VG and decant it into the bottle, add rest of ingredients, shake then wonder why my supposed 10ml tester looks a little full That's not as bad as when I forgot to press Calculate and started to syringe about 10 times as much flavour into a 30ml bottle that was almost full and only realised my mistake once it starting spilling over onto the counter As for syringing VG, I don't really find that a problem without needles (which I don't need to use once I've decanted it into the tub) but I only tend to use the 10ml syringe for that as my 30ml 50/50 mixtures need about 13.5ml. Don't think I've tried with a 1ml but the hole is probably wide enough for it not to be a problem with that either, it's just the needles with their narrow openings that cause problems. I find it very quick using the tubs, as I can syringe up the VG and squeeze it into a 30ml bottle, then repeat for another 5, then do the same with the PG and the nicotine before putting them away and doing the flavours, which takes the most time. With shot glasses I'd either have to decant enough of the base ingredients into shot glasses to do six 30ml bottles, or keep refilling the same shot glass as I went along, both of which seem more fiddly and prone to accidents than using the tubs.

They look useful, I'll have to get some. As others have said, there's different ways to going about this and I did originally buy some cheap disposable shot glasses but there's always a risk with pouring from the large bottles into shot glasses that you might knock them over or spill some liquid whilst pouring it. The tubs I'm using can't tip over and you'd have to be very clumsy to spill anything outside them whilst pouring, as they're so much wider than a shot glass. Plus I can fill up the tubs and not have to touch the 1L bottles for a few sessions. So it all helps to minimise any chance of accidents and works for me I guess I could use the shot glasses to decant the flavours into so that I could syringe them without a needle as I find it a bit fiddly trying to hold the bottle and syringe whilst pulling the plunger. Using a shot glass comes with the risk of knocking it over though and I'd also have to syringe the leftovers back into the bottle when I'd finished as I wouldn't be able to just pour them back.

I bought some of these bottles with needle caps, for no particular reason other than I needed some bottles and they were cheap I wasn't concerned about the type of caps they came with as I have plenty of normal caps spare anyway. www.fasttech.com/products/1842500However I wonder if these needle caps might actually be useful for steeping, by allowing some air in whilst (mostly) avoiding the risk of accidental spillage from leaving the bottles completely uncapped?

As my 1L bottles of VG/PG/Nicotine started to deplete, I was faced with the problem that a) my syringes couldn't reach the liquids and b) it was too difficult syringing the VG through the needles i have. So I had a look in Wilkinsons and found these 100ml tubs for £1 which are ideal. Now I just decant my base ingredients into three of these and I can syringe them up without needing to use a needle at all. It also means I don't have to open the large bottles (exposing them to the air and risking spillages) every time I need to mix up some juices. The lids are locked on with four clips, so there's no pushing the lid on and pulling it off, which risks sending everything flying. They seem like they seal pretty well but they're meant for storing food, not liquids so I wouldn't recommended turning them upside down and shaking them to see if they leak (no I didn't try that myself, I'm curious not stupid) www.wilko.com/food-boxes+containers/wilko-food-storer-230ml/invt/0318312
