I was a mechanic for a while, apprentice level (not official just realistic), but the boss was like take the head of that 735i and write a report on it and left the building, the report didn't happen but the beamer was sorted.

Computer programmer (full stack, mainly c# and WPF in recent years), though my degree was in electronic engineering which I did in my late 20s.

Samsung 25Rs at 18650.uk 4 for £14.78 using dissy code "ilove18650" Free postage too That's the sort of thing, if you are vaping at higher power they last about as long as the HG2 or 30Q (because of less voltage sag, lower internal resistance) for considerably less money, even at lower power still better value IMO, same for the similar LG I think the where HE2 and HE4. |

It's half the resistance of a single coil, so if you have a pair of 0.5 ohm coils the res will be 0.25 ohm or a pair of 0.6 ohm coils would be 0.3 ohm. Then it is the same as ever:
current = volts / resistance
I = V/R
Max voltage of 4.2 V is never going to happen as the voltage will drop well below 4 V at these levels, so 4 V is a sensible figure:
I = 4/0.25 (pair of 0.5 ohm) = 16 A
I = 4/0.30 (pair of 0.6 ohm) = 13.33 A

Or to put it another way if you are vaping that mod at full power and taking long puffs get a 2 or 3 battery mod, but I don't think you are so all's good. I am happy using 25Rs on a DNA 75, I have it set to start at 75 W, but them temp protection brings it down to 40 or 50 W for most of the puff and they handle that OK.

The recommended 25+Amps quoted will be for using at maximum output (75Watts) and allow for a safety factor. 25R batteries have max. Continuous Discharging Current of 20Amps .... but you'll be using it intermittently not continuously. IMHO you'll be ok lesley1 , they're regarded as good batteries.  Tagging VapingBad , to see if he agrees. He does, 25R's are well behaved batteries that have plenty of omph, you are not pulling that kind of current/amps unless you are maxing the power AND the battery is getting low. Yeah long puff at full power only a not full battery would be going over spec and not advised, but I would pick them in all but the most extreme battery requirements and I think that people chasing max power these days have mods with several batteries to spread the load. (as the battery get's lower the mod needs more amps to deliver the power) |

Thanks so mucho Dave it is a great film, not the film I would have made, far better than a vaper winging. I see our own London legend Sarah Jakes at 1:17, she goes the the same regular London vape meets I go to and put me forward for the BBC doc. @twigolet on twitter for the longest time, she has been to speak to everyone, government, public health and news media, a real unsung champ! Seriously she has been doing this for years! And Granny Louise, a lovely lady who manages a smoking cessation services the pioneered telling clients that e-cigs are effective for some/many. |
