When i switched to e-cigs sadly there was not the choice there is today, i started with a e-lites from the corner shop just out of curiosity i like gadgets and the idea of something that looks like smoke coming from a electronic device intrigued me.
i continued to smoke while trying out the e-lites, then looked online and found Rok universal basically i slightly better than e-lites but with flavor carts, because the kit cost over £90 i was determined to try and not smoke and use the rok kit instead otherwise it would be wasted money.
I still had the odd cigarette and then discovered an ego battery and a ce4 (top wick lol) this was now enough to kick the fags altogether. many many years on and going through egos with ce4's then kanger and aspire tanks the early ones! not non of this subtank atlas stuff im talking the really old stuff, then tried things like lavatube and again different tanks eventually got into mech mods and rebuildable atomizers and a few years on were upto date i now have a selection of the current crop of gear and i run a vaping business.
My point is if i had skipped the elites, rok and egos i think the transition would have been alot easier and with today's modern ego style starter kits i think new vapers have it alot easier and simple kits now have bottom coils and lower ohms and do actually work really well.
Those horrible top wick ce4's did not work! they leaked very well and dry hit very well but that's about all they were good for!
Thank god for innovation as this has led to getting away from cigarettes that kill you to vaping which doesn't, but sadly our government and the eu want to stifle this innovation so we can all go back to killing ourselves.
