Received the SMY safely this morning and I'm still engrossed by it's pretty screen! Maybe tomorrow I'll get 10 minutes to do more than throw on a random atomiser... A huge thanks to robby for the generous giveaway - you're a star!  Did you enjoy getting the tape off  The folks at work were absolutely pissing themselves at my delicate attempts to open the parcel without damaging the contents! Eventually got through your 'protection' with a stanley knife and a pair of pliers and all I got was oohs and ahhs once they saw the display. (Of the three remaining workmates that still smoke, one wants a second atomiser, another says he'll give vaping a second chance next month and the last one today asked me for "something simple to give it a go". I've also spread my 'influence' and a guy working next door turned up this week with a mini protank on a spinner-type thing.) |

Got my half dozen FLV testers mixed, bathed, shooked and hidden away in the airing cupboard this evening. Will report back after sampling in a couple of days. Hi ceedee really interested as to how these turned out. I have just done a small mix with three of their flavours all mixed at 5% and 50/50, and I know we all have different tastes.... 1) Black Cherry. When I was young I used to get flavoured drinking powder from my American aunt, and when I tried this I got a really strong flavour memory. It is nothing like black cherry, tastes like an American sweet - very artificial 2) Vanilla Custard. Almost tasteless after 2 days. After 5 days the flavour is beginning to come through - it is creamy and from what I can tell very good. It is just a very muted at the moment. I think this will need to be left for a while. I have not added anything to it, so it might need a bit of french vanilla. 3) Mocha. I liked this, but a quite a subtle taste. Definitely more chocolate than coffee. 1.5 out of 3 so far. Nick Just a quick note to let you know I've not forgotten this thread but that I've been stupidly busy. With a bit of luck, work will calm down soon so I can get back to sampling properly. For what it's worth, just done a quick sniff'n'lick of my 5% FLV VC (after 3 weeks in the airing cupboard) and it's seems strong to me. Can't wait to vape some... I'd agree the Mocha at 5% looks to be less impressive - I don't really even get chocolate, let alone coffee, from it. Vape mail today included FLV Blueberry Muffin, Boysenberry, Peach and (yet another) Peanut Butter.  |

Maybe we're a little more level headed in the UK. We rarely come across DIY being panned. Sorry but the blogger doesn't know what he is talking about. If I brought home 40 bottles of eliquid from a vape expo then "only about 6-7 were actually vapeable let alone good." is about what I would expect. It pretty obvious really - if there were a bunch of eliquids that everybody liked there wouldn't be people asking. Have a read of a couple of his recipes before jumping to conclusions? |

Sadly I think I lucked out here - had it all in my basket, discount code applied (saving me about seven quid) logged in to paypal to complete the order and its jumped back up to £20  Decided I don't actually need those concentrates anyway - I'll wait till next time!! I think I read that vendors day on BOTV was cancelled for august as most of the team will be on holiday. The next planned is in September. This isn't to say some stores might run there own discounts for this weekend, or there might be another source for a code list So I've been hanging on with this Chef's order all week for nothing?
