Hi Greg the diameters for mine are 21cm bottom board, 12cm top board. I used the chopping board as it is hard wood i did try using mdf board but the wood drills just chewed it up The top board is about 1cm high from the bottom i used an old nemmises tube i had gave it the height and looks shiney again to everyone for the kind words, If anyone decides to make one post up some pics will great to see variations and results. Many thinks, I did has a gander in Tesco tonight but nothing doing but they did have some small diametre wooden rolling pins for £1:50 that look ideal for the centre shaft. Off to search ebay now for a couple of suitably sized round chopping boards Greg sounds cool rolling pin for the centre shaft, the boards are in the homeware section they are square not round so will need to cut out yourself. They do the big one which i used and got both bits and some spare left over or if you wanted to make a smaller stand they do a smaller board too

I see a pic on here yesterday of a tip drip stand and thought im going to have a bash at making my own and added some more holes, Bought a chopping board from tescos £6.00 and then spent 4 hours in the garage and this is the result. Im pretty chuffed with it........... Not sure whether to stain it..........
