I would say that if you have a bit of money to spend and want " something that vapes like a steam train", spend it on a decent atty - a mod is just a means of supplying power, it is that atty that determines the quality of the vape. Your MVP is as good as any, if not better than most, at supplying steady power to your atty. never relised that mate , what atty would you recomend |

hi all , going to order a mod but what would you recomend? want something that i can put a trident on and something that vapes like a steam train . Also need a battery so if i order a battery do i need a charger or will the battery come with one . And one last thing wheres cheapest uk site to order from ........answers on a post card please

That coil buddy is on the to get list . Finally got the single coil perfect , four complete wraps and reading 1.4 ohm and vapes perfect . Never relised the flavours would taste so clearer . If i attempt a double coil would each coil need to be 8 wraps ? Or is there really not much point double coiling it ? To be honest, I'm not sure...Think your calculations sound about right though. If I were you I'd use it for a bit until you fancy having a mess about as it works for you as is anyhow. I've literally spent hours trying to create a coil setup that I've seen on youtube only to be non fussed by the results and go back to my normal setup which works! As I said earlier I think, be careful with the threads when tightening down wire, I knackered mine. Still not sure if they were faulty/or weak, I cross threaded the screw or it was the ribbon wire I was trying to use getting into thread that caused it but never been the same since! My other two drippers have no such problems with threads, but maybe because I've been more cautious with them, I've only been coiling 1 1/2 months be the way so no pro. It is fun once you get the knack of it. And your right about the flavours... I've still got protanks on standby but not used in I don't know how long! Yeah think ill leave it for another day haha . Just going to enjoy this for now . |

I'm in sunny west brom mate , my mates sorting me some out tomorrow. It's just really doing my head in really taking my time and then the ohm reading seems all over the place . Ill try again tomorrow else it's going to end up going through the window

Ok tried the 14 wrap super thing and noticed only some of the coil was turning red , and tried the 7 wrap around 2.5mm drill .
With both of them the ohm reading seemed all over the place if i tightened it i got a reading of either 0.0 - 0.6 , if i loosened it slightly i was getting a reading of 3.4 ohm....what does all this mean?
My mate said get a trident you won't regret it lol , seems like a nightmare so far

Thanks for the reply's , it's to use on my mvp2 so does it have to be over a certain ohm ? Apparently the v2 will fire at 0.8ohms but I couldn't confirm that as I don't have one. I think in that case, use the super nano coil, but just one. I do that on my vamo with a 14 wrap single coil for around 1.5ohms Ok thanks for that , one last thing do any hardware shops like b&q etc sell wicks and the wire or do you have to get it offline , as my mate only gave me a bit he had spare |
