Ps - it was the easy re-wick dry burn that convinced me, anything for an simple vape life :-) They are pretty decent tanks but i've found it a struggle at times to get the wick to keep up with higher wattage settings and higher VG levels. When you put a new wick in you need to cut it flush as possible and tuck back in any stray fibres otherwise the wick may get displaced when you put the head back in the tank. Also another little tip i found works quite well is to roll cotton around a small diameter screwdriver or a pin maybe so the wick is hollow. Wicks much better with high VG liquids then |

Worthy of mention in my little subohm world . . . . have just changed my iSub coil - almost 120ml of eliquid through it, finished off with a little Snake Oil and a flourish of Cough Candy. Installed and used prior to Vapefest, I feel like I've lost an old friend.  Still works I might add . . . . . Ahhh I just seen this... so you finally changed the little bleeder eh?
I'm too much of a tinkerer to let a coil sit in a tank that long. In fact I just whipped a perfectly good coil out this evening because I wanted to try putting a NI 200 coil in. Fancied a bit of temp control experimentation after getting my evic mini last week. It works but i'm yet to fully get my head around all this TC business

hijack yeah the screws on mine are rubbish. I recoiled with kanthal earlier today and struggled a bit with them. Think i'll take your advice at some point and try filing them a bit. The one I have is a clone. Guessing yours is too as I've not seen the genuine ones coloured

I've narrowed it down to between the ivp d2 and evic mini just wondering on which would be the better out or the two? I'm not over bothered about tc I'll just be using it in power mode Both those are the ones to have a short list for a tiny mod. I prefer the evic as it has a bit more style(especially in white). The D2 is stealth through and through.  The actual size difference is 2-3mm taller for the evic but the evic is about 2mm narrower and slightly slimmer. Both work great in either mode, But once your used to TC then TC is the better vape, you just need to be less forceful when taking a draw...Its a more chilled approach to a consistent vape. Finish wise the evic wins hands down...been using the white on for several weeks and there is not even a scratch where the atty meets the mod so far. Looks like you've got a TC build going on in that goblin. How did you get on with that?
I just received my VTC mini today and loving it so far. I put a goblin on mine to start with just to see how it is in power mode to start with. Seems to be performing admirably.
I got the bundle with the tank so going to have a play in a bit and see what all this temp control stuff is about... Also have some .2 NI 200 wire that I got as a freebie. Will that be any good for coiling my own builds?

sonicflowjoe I ordered the white one from GB EU warehouse on friday, was shipped sunday but tracking says its not coming today so maybe tomorrow  I also have the black one I ordered from there(much quicker delivery) but the white one looks better IMO! Hope you get your order soon! Its a nice bit of kit Cheers revoke. I just realised I did get an email saying it was shipped yesterday but tracking is giving me no info. I was hoping to grab one of these from the gearbest EU warehouse but they're now out of stock...  Anyone know the next best place to get one quickly and cheaply? My FT one took 2 weeks and was delivered on Saturday (although I was away so had to pick up from P.O yesterday). Considering epacket got cancelled after I placed the order and so it got sent normal reg mail (singpost), I think that's pretty good!! Might not be quite as fast as you're looking for though sonicflowjoe ... Was about £22 (after refunded epacket charge) which is a fantastic price for such a great little mod. I love it (TC doesn't interest me, so don't know how good it is on this. Normal mode works great and the screen is clear anid readable) Cheers spacey, I ended up getting one bundled with the ego one tank for £35 from gearbest eu warehouse. They still had the white and cyan in stock. Went for white even though I probably would have had black given a choice. Ordered on Sunday so hopefully might show up today or tomorrow. Although I never got an email saying it's shipped yet so Will have to see.. You got a result getting it in two weeks from China |
