Ordered some of the BVC coils for my small aspire tanks. Was going to use them on the iStick but the 510 adaptor is absolutely awful so that's a no go. But whacked one in earlier. Let it sit for twenty minutes whilst I got a shower. First few vapes we're dry hit central. Then that stopped but the vapour and flavour is pitiful. It's just a cheapo blue ice liquid from my local b&m but I use it when I get vapers tongue since I despise plain menthol. Had a BDC in before and that was fine. Not massive vapour but flavour was fine. Now it taste of nothing and I've seen more vapour come off a two year old clero. Just is 50/50 so not VG heavy. But the BDC was better all around. Tried a different head. The same. Dud heads? Or have I just built them up too much in my head after seeing all the amazing reviews. They havn't sent the BVC nautilus heads by mistake have they? |

Thanks for that smifee, do you find any difference in performance using this method in BDC coils vs BVC coils I've never used BDC heads but no difference to my taste buds between a new BVC and a microcoiled one. Since taking the ceramics out of an unused Nautilus BVC I no longer use them with the ceramics. The innards are very crumbly. I expect when wet the bits wouldn't end up in your mouth but as there's no flavour advantage in using them with ceramics I don't. Thanks, I have tried it with the BDC so I will try on the BVC to see if it is better |

I recoil Nautilus BVC heads with a microcoil. I hope someone wants to try recoiling with a vertical coil as I don't use the 'ceramic' bits.
I have 10 filler pads & 10 cups.
They came from Lightning Vapes in Florida when I got 10 disassembled heads.
Will swap for 5 used Nautilus BVC heads. Do you drill the shank like with rebuilding BDC heads? - How about a tutorial? please |

Its weird because it still says that its holding the voltage but its hard work getting a vape from it, you have to fire it (twice) and hold it for a few seconds before you get any reaction, I know the battery's ok because its the same one I used in my black one. Just testing it a bit further before I raise a complaint  Do you think that because the coloured i.e. Red and Blue are cheaper they are a lower spec. or different manufacturer? |

When I started vaping and joined this forum 7 months ago I started like most with ego/evod type setup. I then got a Vamo and everyone said mech mods was the way forward, I followed and got a stingray and went to the next level.
Now the trend seems to be towards VW box mods. I got a DNA30 on the group buy and it is so good I am asking myself the question has the VW box mod now replaced the mech mod.
When vaping now I seem to pick up the DNA30 or Vamo and my Stingrays are being neglected - what does anyone else think about all that?
