What flavours did you get Dom and did your plastic survive the assault?! None yet - I got all woozy when I saw the selection ppplus I've burned the CC quite badly this week so I'll sleep on it while the card cools down a bit

Liberty Flights probably have the most Dom Cripes they've got hundreds. My head is spinning with the amount of choice - my poor credit card Thanks for the tip Jason.

Bought some wick and spikeys from cige the other day and spontaneously picked up some nic base liquid. I now realise that I need to get some flavourants (nic flavoured juice is probably going to get boring in a hurry), but until now haven't really looked into it.
I am aware that Jimmybats and Jason offer a few flavour concentrates but don't know who else, so I thought I''d ask for recommendations for your fave flavourant vendors in the UK.

Sounds like a short - try measuring the resistance. Keep it away from your Riva - it could burn out the circuit.

A 510 drip tip with a wrap of insulating tape around the bottom will stay inside the top of an ego cone for use with the imist.
Some Stardust tips have a lip inside them, but it can easily be drilled out to, say, 5mm

To cut a long story short - there's no way a double wick can go through the tube, so I reverted to my original method of pulling the wick directly through the coil made on the smaller screw.
I superglued it (the screw) to the centre pin from an old Boge to give myself something to hold on to.
Came up at 2.4 from 5 turns and is vaping quite well.

Well, I want to double up the wick - a single wick will be too loose on the coil.

Correction - the CE2 air tube is 2.0 mm dead. My original screw was 2.7mm od (i.e. at the peaks on the threads). I have scavenged a finer one from a bit of speedblock at 2.3mm od, so that might work better. Now all I need to do is figure out how to thread the wick through the tube.

I was wondering how big a 14 Guage needle was en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Needle_gauge_comparison_chartLooks like 2.1mm o/d, 1.6i/d. I don't possess one, but digging around in my bit box I found a CE2 air tube whicjh is 1.6mm o/d, which is similar to a 16 gauge needle. Hmmmm...

0.16mm nichrome resistance wire. I got mine from Dee (designer on this board) - drop her a PM she has loads at very reasonable prices.

It's 0.16 nichrome from Dee, the coil and screw separate simply by holding the coil between thumb and forefinger and unscrewing the screw.

Test: Not bad, five o the six turns are glowing I metered this at around 2.9-3.0 ohms with my rubbish multimeter. it just about works on my unregulated Rivas though, so I won't re do it for a bit. Benefits are it makes a nice even coil, though not as tightly wound as via the usual method. Downside is it is a one shot method for a particular wick - once the lop is cut, it can't be used to make a coil this way again. So if anyone has any further brainwaves to make this work shout up

I know what you're thinking - there are going to be wicking issues with this. Ahh, well, this is the smart bit. I used a reclaimed wick from a Ritchy Era carto - it is a tad thinner than CE2 wick, but I'm doubling up. Take any old bit of wire (no res or old coil straightened out) and twist it around the wick halfway along: Now dampen the wick. Thread the coil over the wire twist, then holding the coil gently but firmly between thumb and forefinger, pull the wire and the wick through. It doesn't look like it will go, but it does, thgouh it is not as tight as the China made ones: It is a lot more even than the others I wound though. Liberate the wire twist by snicking through the loop and of the wick. Trim the tails and assemble into your stardust as usual.

Simply wind the wire around the screw threads: tidy up the ends (the screw gives you a nice rigid substrate for manipulating the coil until it is nice and even with straight tails) and remove the screw: I got a bit carried away with thisone and did six turns. Previously four turns gave me around 2.4 ohms, five about 2.7 so this might be a bit higher resistance than I would like.
