Very good review as always This will be good for those peeps that do not like LiPo batteries BUT it means you will have to keep at least 3 batteries married together - a thumbs down in my opinion. It is not as vital to keep batteries married with a DNA200 due to the cell by cell monitoring, but it is good practice. I had a laugh to myself as it uses the same reverse battery protection method I have used for nearly 2 years and had been told be a "respected mod maker" on PotV that it was no good for a commercial design, so to that guy, you know they guy I mean Bob. Did he have problems with DNA boards :Dand decide he wouldn't make any more mod with them...

Thanks for the feedback robby, I jumped on this as soon as it was posted, always nice to have another TC squonker, just waiting for the GB to complete (25/10?) so that they can get on with shipping them out

just checked the FT battery Bob, it looks identical to the pack i received, down to the drawstring pouch... re battery chargers im just repeating info, i am a lipo newbie so have no clue, simply choosing to err on the side of caution, while i get clued up, and ive heard no bad noises about the dna200 charging features.. Have a look on Hobbyking for a better Balance Charger: www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__408__1__Chargers_Accessories.html I tend to look for AC/DC converters that use either a kettle or figure of eight lead so that I can change them over easily.

I used the supplied Balance Charger, just not the Adaptor as it had a US plug on it and it looked a bit cheap as well, the Balance Charger I got with my Darwin Mods Squonk³ is a Turingy 2S/3S one so I can always use that as well, I'm in no rush to get one so I ordered from FT along with another DX200 mod as well.

There is a battery recovery function in the DNA200 software - Device Manager - Diagnostics - Advanced that will charge a battery most chargers see as unchargable. If your battery was low Bob it is because they didn't update the firmware before sending them out and you should do so now. VapingBad Firmware was updated as soon as I attached it to Escribe, which was while the battery was on the Balance Charger

Mine finally arrived last week, the natty little box was slightly damaged in transit via Sweden, and the battery was run right down, it came with the balance charger and a US plug adaptor/converter. I tried using a USB to charge but it was only taking 0.04A so gave up on that, luckily my Darwin Mods Squonk³ UK plug adaptor/converter fitted the balance charger so I was able to recharge the battery even though it took nearly 6 hours to complete, using the USB to recharge since then has worked flawlessly @ around 1.00A to start with, dropping off as it charges.
Would be nice to be able to buy extra battery halves, as they are so easy to just take off to recharge using the Balance Charger.
All in all a very good well made Mod, I have had no problems with it whatsoever and it performs just as well as my Woody DNA200 from @windows and the VT200 from HCigar - all tested using a Uwell Crown with Steel coil & Kanger Subtank with Ni200 coil, both with Temp Protection.

How glad are we that the couple of posters who asked for GB to lose their vendor status didn't get their wish? I was a little vocal about how poor they were, but I would never ask for a company to lose vendor status on a forum, I would do what I did, and just stop using them, and now they have proved themselves to have upped their game, I will probably start using them again, but only from the UK warehouse.

Up until the message by VE Jason I was going to say that the only way they can verify me is either by my piccy on the forums or Video Skyping me, because a) I don't have/want a credit card B) I will not be sending any proof of my old age whatsoever.

I think they are a great for up to about 15 W, EG Kayfun, but more than that I would advise a DNA40 or 200 so you have plenty of head room for the pre-heat. My thoughts exactly, I keep telling people to allow some headroom, although I do tend to set DNA40s at 40w and use the temp to control the mod, which normally means I will be vaping at way less than 40w (normally around 25-30w looking at my VS VF).
