Sorry, just needed to add that as an extra measure, I also tried the clearomiser on a friend's Innokin iTaste battery and again, it seemed to fit on nicely, but didn't work.

Hi folks, It's been quite a while since I've posted on here, as I fell off the wagon and went back to the dirty real cigarettes I've now decided that I want to quit the real ones again and go back to my trusty tasty e-cig but I'm having some issues now.. I'll try and explain and not bore you too much. I'm fully expecting I've done something wrong to cause this but I have no idea what, and I'm really hoping someone can tell me if there's a way I can fix this or if I just need to buy a new kit. So the kit I have was bought quite a long time ago, and I believe it was called the Echo 510. When I decided to start using it again, I found that the cartomisers that came with it were no longer any good, so went looking for replacements. I popped onto the website I had used originally and decided I'd try a clearomiser this time, so I bought the Kanger T3D Dual Coil Clearomiser as I couldn't remember at the time whether that was the right fitting or not. It arrived, and I tried it on the battery and it seemed to fit perfectly, so I filled it with juice but found I couldn't get it to produce any vapour. Then I remembered that the battery is a 510 fitting, not an ego (I'm not sure what the difference is), so I went back onto the website thinking I'd buy a new battery, and instead found a 510 to ego-t adapter. I thought for a couple of quid, it's got to be worth a try. But it hasn't helped the situation Basically, what's happening is, if I connect the clearomiser directly to the battery and push the button, the button lights up as normal but when releasing it, it stays on for a couple of seconds then shuts off. Whereas under normal operation with the cartomisers that came with it, when releasing the button it fades out, and it does it a bit quicker. Then, when I add the adapter, on pushing the button it just flashes three times. Unfortunately I don't know what these light sequences mean and I've lost the instructions to the kit. I'm fully expecting I've done something daft that's caused this, but I'm really hoping someone will be able to point me in the right direction so I can get it right this time. Many thanks in advance. J

So... Due to no time or money, a pregnant wife and my wanting to make the same sacrifices my wife is making, I'm selling my kit and quitting completely. It's a full Echo 510 deluxe kit with two batteries, 5 Echomisers with whistle tips and the charger. I'm also including a syringe for first fill-up, an extra 510 atomiser with drip-tip, and the following juices from Grizwald's: 30ml Golden Burginia - 20mg nicotine 30ml 666 - 20mg nicotine 5ml Jamaican Fruit Punch - 20mg nicotine 5ml Cherry Pipe - 20mg nicotine 5ml Perpetu Leche - 20mg nicotine All the juices have been used a little bit, but only a little bit. They all have "most of it" left. All echomisers and tips have been thoroughly cleaned and dried off, and one of them has never been used. Ideally I'd like about £50 for the lot, but feel free to make me an offer

Right! First of all, apologies all for taking so long to get back on here, it's been a hectic week! Thanks everyone for the welcoming messages, and I'm amazed my thread was so easy to find after almost a week away from the forum, so thanks HeadHunter for making the remarks that have kept the thread on the front page So now to my experiences in the past week... I think I ordered my kit on the Sundat night, and my kit arrived on Tuesday morning in a lovely presentation box with al the stuff I ordered, as well as a syringe for the first fill on the Echomisers, a free drip-tip and a free sample bottle of aniseed juice that Jason very kindly threw in for me (thanks Jason!) He also put in a couple of pages of instructions and tips to get me started and continue successful vaping, so thanks for that too.. Turned out it was very sound advice to buy a separate atomiser and drip tip as the first juice I tried from my pickNmix (apples'n'pears) wasn't that nice IMO, so I was very glad I hadn't filled a 2ml Echomiser with the stuff. Next one I tried was 666, which is awesome! I've been on that one all week and really like the taste. I think I had two pulls on the sampler kit before I'd decided to fill an Echomiser. I had tried the kit and a couple of flavours on the Tuesday night after receiving the kit at the office, and had my first full day using the e-cig exclusively on Wednesday. I haven't had an analogue since. The e-cig has done the job perfectly, dealing with my cravings and giving me the peace of mind that I'm not filling my lungs with an undisclosed quantity of dangerous chemicals. It's also been really nice to not have to go outside to have a smoke. The Echo has been so successful in my house that my wife (also a smoker) tried it on the night I brought it home, and immediately asked if she couold try it for a while too. So she's stolen my second battery and one of the other Echomisers along with the Toffe Popcorn juice, and has also not had an analogue since Tuesday night. So I've converted another person to vaping within 10 minutes of my first try of it! Also after my initial reservations after finding out the Echo is 6 inches long, I'm glad I bought it as it doesn't feel as big as I thought it would Thanks all for the advice, tips and welcomes, now I must go and order some more 666 juice. I'm about to try the chocolate tabac in a few minutes too..

Right, I've just ordered my kit Thanks so much everyone for all the help so far with this, and it really is awesome to see retailers being so pro-active and helpful when so many can't be bothered. Kudos to all of you I can't wait to try this now, I'm really excited to find out what the flavours I've ordered are like. I'll be sure to visit here regularly and keep in touch

Wow, really! That seems pretty big. Is that about normal for these devices?
Is that for extra battery life and/or the larger capacity for the juice?

Right, so I hadn't got the idea at all :/ I think I've found what I need now, thanks very much for the help and I'll definitely contact you through the store to double check so thanks for that I have one more question before I fully decided on this item (Sorry!) What's the overall length of the Echo 510? I can't seem to find the info so far.

Thanks for the replies so far guys I'm not entirely sure which option I was looking at re headhunter's question, it was the Echo 510 Mega Kit from Vapeescape. I'm just wondering about the battery options.. It seems all the kits I've looked at come with manual batteries. Are these better? Are there any kits out there that come with automatic ones? jason thanks for the suggestions, is there an addin to the kit you'd recommend for flavour testing? I was planning on just switching out the echomisers seeing ad it comes with 5 of them.

Hi all, I just joined up after following a link from another (unrelated) forum I frequent. I've never considered e-cigs before but figure i'd like to try it for health and interest reasons. I spend a lot of time out of the house, mostly at work or in the car and I'm usually pushed for time, so will grab a quick cig break when I get a few spare minutes to pop out. Because of this I figure a system that doesn't need refilling or recharging too often is a good way to go. The Echo 510 starter kit looks like the best option so far on this, so I was thinking I'd order that with a 10ml pick n mix so I can try some different flavours. I currently smoke 10-15 tailor made cigs per day and I'm usually not too keen on the throat hit from these. Now for the questions... Does the kit I'm thinking of buying make sense for my requirements, or is there something better I should be looking at? Should I be looking for something with nicotine in it to start with and try to ween myself down, or just go straight for nicotine free? Are there any pros and cons for getting either PG only or PG/VG? Can anyone recommend any flavours? Many thanks in advance, and I may think of some more questions so I hope y'all don't mind J
