Thanks all, but for now have emptied and cleaned out tank and coil, and put back in its nest. But for now can't be bothered to shove some new juice into it and try your suggestions.........yes, I am a nuisance. I would experiment more, but just found that both my Maxi Nautilusessesss 1.8 ohm coils are reading between about 2.2 - 2.8 ohms, on M80, MVP3 and Coolfire IV. I have removed the coils, and with my all purpose round pokey thing, I have gently pushed the 510 pin in and out from inside the base. Not made any difference to readings though. Summats up somewhere, so now have another problem on my hands......ho hum.

Thank you chaps for showing me how simple I am. I just looked at the coil and it said '70-80W' - so did that.....*sigh* I have much to learn about these things, and very much appreciate the advice, and was saving the .3 ohm for when I got the Smok M80 'cos it can do 80W. Using the adjustable air holes on the drip tip did cool down the vape as intended. I shall try again later, as much experimenting is needed. Don't tell anyone about this cock-up will you....sssssshhhhh.

Curious, and wondering if there is a list out in cyber world of coils that will also fit other tanks. For example, new BVC coils will fit Maxi and Mini Nautiluses. Atlantis 1 + 2's will also fit new Triton.
That sort of thing ?

I was considering getting one of these, now that the price has come down a bit, but from it seems many reports of problems, I don't think I will get one. Pity, because it is a very nice little device, and rather hankered after one, especially since I got the iStick 30Watter.

Got one with an Atlantis, and since I have just got the Smok M80 I thought I would give it a go. Tried it at 70W, then 80W, then down to about 60W.
Nope, far too warm a vape for me, even using the adjustable air holes in the drip tip on the Atlantis 2, so not a happy experience for me, so I don't think I will buy any replacement .3 ohm coils, and just stick to the .5's.
Or is it just me, and am I doing it wrong ?

Currently using 3 different custard flavours (from Isle of Custards) on the MVP3 Pro+Atlantis V1 - Smok Xpro M80+Atlantis v2 and VTR2 with 30S... Happy times...

Still not sold on this cloud chasing malarky I don't mind a session once in a while but I couldn't see myself doing it full time. It just makes a welcome change now and again. But no way is the flavour better than a properly coiled and wicked decent rda. It is still a bit of a novelty to me, but these sub ohm tanks just make a bit of a change from my normal ones, and apart from that it gives me a chance to make the use out of my MVP 3 Pro and my shiny new Smok Xpro M80 mod's. Apart from that, your 'avatar' amuses me...

Stop it, stop it.....at once !! drunkenbum - I am glad you are another fan of the iSub, dead easy to take apart and clean, and so far not suffered from any cracking, although I don't think any of my juices are liable to do that, and as you say, it was quite cheap. You are now tempting me to venture into the Kanger world, and must admit that their range of sub ohm tanks do now look rather appealing, what with the supplied rebuildable bases, which would give me the basic kit should I venture into that world as well. Yes, the subtank Mini does rather appeal to me I must admit. Which would mean stocking another type of ready made coils....*sigh*

I rather felt the same when I got my first tank, the Innokin iSub polycarb tank, and certainly proved to be a new and fun experience. The flavour is great with the .5 ohm coil which has lasted for some weeks now, and the massive (to me) clouds were a novelty, and a sort of bonus. I still like to puff away on my Nautili's (large and small), but I have been converted to getting sub ohm tanks. I do have the Atlantis v1 and v2's (clones), and intend at some point to get the iSub G, and the Triton. I am also trying to get tanks that take coils I already have, hence the iSub G and Triton tanks, rather than having others that need new types of coils. But that is just me. For some reason, perhaps due to their past performances on some tanks (based on video reviews), I have never been that keen on Kanger offerings, and find all I want in Aspire/Innokin tanks. Back when I first started vaping I had the Kanger EVOD which leaked and gurgled a bit, and put me off, the Aspire BDC ET-S tanks didn't. Things may be different with Kanger these days, but I would need a lot of arm twisting to start buying them. I agree with stej though, some of my flavours do not seem to taste the same in these sub ohm tanks, but it may be my worn out taste buds. Generally speaking, I just use 70/30 VG/PG 3mg for the sub ohms, and 50/50 PG/VG 3mg for everything else, it depends on what I have in stock.

Update.....the Smok XPro M80 that I bought from Edge arrived this morning, and am rather happy with my new 'toy', and just slapped on the Atlantis V2 to try it out, and my 'man cave' is now filled with plumes of Custard Donut. Thanks all for the help, and especially to Edge for his very quick service.

Most pleased as my Smok XPro Plus M80 arrived in the post this morning. Great service from Edge, and would certainly buy from him again if something comes up that requires me to send some money his way for something. Much appreciated, and now have a new 'toy' to play with.

Do I need glasses, am I being thick ? But for the life of me I cannot see the juice contents, i.e. are they 10ml, 30ml etc. ? The info for the juice to buy only shows the selection of nicotine strengths, not how much the bottle holds. Please put me out of my misery, gently..... Still havn't got around to fixing that sorry. If it's a fiver its a 10ml bottle, if it's more it has more in it. Only exception being Alchemy which I think I priced at £6 for 10ml. I will get it sorted asap though sorry for the confusion it's causing Phew, thank goodness for that, as the men in white coats were about to knock at my door. Being a nuisance, I just like to know what size bottle I am getting, and thanks for the reply - appreciated.
