Thanks for the advice, appreciated. The lowest ohm coil I have is the .3 that I got with my Atlantis v1 - I think - and not tried it out yet, as I have been using the .5 ohm coil supplied (about 2-3 weeks), and not yet needed any of the pack of 10 that I bought as spares. New to this sort of sub ohm vaping, so I use .5 ohm coils on the Atlantis V1 and V2, plus my favourite iSub polycarb tank, and usually use about 25W on them with either the Coolfire IV or MVP3 Pro. Still experimenting with wattages (mainly because I don't really know what I am doing), so looking forward to when I get the Smok XPlus Pro M80 to play with.

Update - thank you all for the suggestions, and I settled on the Smok Xpro M80 Plus jobbie, and thanks dalealan for the tip off for the one on sale from Edge. Near enough what I wanted, but at a very good price, so that will do me for now....and it has a clock !! So now will have an 80W, and next stop will be a 100W, and I think that will be it, and just need more funds for more spending. Since I totally forget about the stuff for sale section, I will check in there more often when I want to progress up the wattage line again. Thanks all.

Because of many birthdays coming up (wife reminded me), I decided on the Smok XPro M80 plus, and having the clock sort of decided it. Don't wear a watch, or remember to take a mobile phone out with me (battery is usually flat anyway) so I figured I can increase my range of wattages up to 80W and know what the time is.

Mmmmm, all these suggestions, and thank you very much. I need to watch some reviews, and try and make up my feeble mind... Still tending to look for one that takes a battery rather than built in, as most of my mods are built in jobbies. I think I need to make up my mind about that Smok M80, as that to me is a bit of a bargain....ummm, how the heck do I work out the F&F bit for postage on top of the £27 ? Its £27 including 1st class signed for delivery. F&F is paypal friends and family, no charges on top of the £27. Still thinking....I admit it is very tempting, forgive me while I try to make up my mind.

Since I have just started to get into sub ohm tanks - iSub, Atlantis v1 and v2 (although not that keen on them, maybe 'cos they are clones, and no where near as good as the iSub), and only use stock coils as I am not into building my own - yet. I have a range of mod's from MVP2 11W, VTR2 - 15W, Cloupor Mini 30W, iStick 30W, Coolfire IV 40W and my MVP3 Pro 60W, so I have pretty much all the lower ranges covered. But, I quite fancy a higher wattage mod, just in case. Not into TC stuff yet, too complicated for simple old me, and I don't build my own coils anyway. I am quite interested in the SMOK XPRO M80 Plus (not worried that TC doesn't work, although the rest of the device seems ok) and I don't think I would (for now) see the need for a device that does more than 100W just yet. But it would be nice to have the power there should I need it up to that amount. Any advice by those that have a higher than 60W device would be appreciated, and perhaps one that requires its own battery/ies. Price does sort of come in to it though, much rambling and much confused. Many thanks.

I too like the iSub (PC tank) with the .5 ohm coils, and I think the first coil has lasted me about 3 weeks now, and it was my first walk into the sub ohm world. Nice and easy to take apart and clean too, and being 'plastic' it does not worry me at all, even my year old iClear 30S still works just fine with all the different juices I have put through it. I also have the Atlantis V1 and V2 Clones, but I think the iSub is superior to them, although they work well enough. The only down side, is that I can get through an awful lot of my favourite custards flavours with the iSub. I might get the 'G' version, but more than likely just get another (cheaper) 'plastic' one. I have never been a Kanger fan, since in my early days there was too much talk about leaky and gurgly tanks, so stuck to Innokin and Aspire, and not looked back.

I find it good that Innokin come out with some new style products, as to me, many of the mini box mods all look pretty similar and with the same style screens. Not to everyone's taste, but neither was the VTR2, with complaints of too big and heavy etc. Not for me, I find it fits in my hand nicely and the weight is quite comforting, but that's just be being a bit weird. Still one of my favourite mods, sturdy (and needs to be considering the number of times I have knocked it off my desk), simple design even if it is a bit 'old' now. I wish perhaps they would bring out a VTR3, with info on the screen to make use of all of that space. No doubt there will be a gel sleeve later which could improve the looks, but I quite like innovation and something that appears to work pretty well, over some fancy looking new mod that doesn't match all the hype. Because it is a bit different, I may just get one a bit later on, not that I need a 40W mod, but I quite like that a new battery can be bought to extend its life, which rather appeals to me...

Bit of a hi-jack, but for me, I am interesting in TC, but not just yet. I am also thinking of a higher wattage mod (nice round 100W probably), and would probably settle for one without TC built in, because as it is now becoming so popular in maybe 5-6 months time there will be better TC mods on sale, when many of the tech details have been sorted out.
