Already have a hammond 1550 but its got a few more holes in than Id Like cos in its short life its been An SVB clone And a Mosfet squonker. So heres me box. Already have the lid magneted up so its good to go. After much time with the rule Ive realised theres no way Im getting any kind of chip in it (other than a starplat) and seems how I use mechs every day Ive decide to throw caution to the wind and make it a full mech mod. Made a polycarbonate liner (helps with keeping the positives from the negatives) that should it all work out I can transfer easily to a new box. Aint quite finished needs a few more bits n bobs adding. Slips nicely into the case. White square of paper is where the tank will drop in (he hopes lol) Test fit the battery. The square hole will be for the button. Just waiting on some bits to arrive. Namely a 1/4 bsp nut And a 1/4 to 1/8 bsp reducer. Which will hopefully become the 510 driptip/tank retainer and Neg terminal (he hopes lol). Thats all for now.

Well here goes another of my long winded mod build threads. Always fancied a billetbox, had a clone of the original and even with my favourite rebuildable carto it was a bit of a let down to say the least so moved it on. But I still really liked the idea of a tank in a box concept. Time goes by and we now have the Rev4 with its more up to date divers and is starting to get me interested again. So jokingly the other day I said Im going to turn a hammond 1550p box in to a B-box style mod so bit the bullet and I ordered a boro tank clone for the sum of £5.65 delivered.Ok got a tank, now I need a up to date, juice drinkin, cloud chuckin diver. I raided the Knick-Knacks draw and i found, A 510 extension piece. Kanger v1 base, Kayfun Nano chimney set An old Rainbow heaven rebuildable ceramic carto Bit of sawing an filing later Ive managed to make myself a cheapskate diver to go with my boro tank.. Fingers crossed It might just work. Next up, the hammond conversion . . . . . . . . . .

Hello and welcome to the forum - I missed you joining us as I was on my holidays - you've got an awful lot of different stuff there to try no wonder its confusing you, my tip would be to pick a couple of tanks and mods and stick to those for a while then when you know what type of draw you prefer you can experiment. I disagree with phtumshk about Kanger tanks - I've been a Kanger girl through and through, protanks and now subtanks with a couple of iSubs for variety. I dislike metal drip tips but thats easily fixed as you can replace them with pretty glass, ceramic, plastic, marble, acrylic drip tips in every shape and combination of colour you can imagine. Drip tips too can completely alter the draw you get from a tank so its worth having a play around to find the style you like. Doh! I had a senior moment & forgot all about subtanks Dunno how, I have 1 on the go I use most days and a couple more in the draw. So to reiterate, subtanks were Kangers crowning glory & it was all down hill for them from there.

The protank was kangers crowning glory, it all went down hill for them from there. Must admit though I did love my protank at the time making teeny little coils for it. A whole cotton ball would make a thousand wicks for it, these days I shove a whole cotton ball in my RDAs in 1 go lol.

Squonking is really the follow on from driping, the lost art of adding a few drops of juice on to the coil/wick and taking a few toots before repeating. Squonking just makes the process easier, no having to fiddle with child proof caps every few toots you just squonk the bottle and your away.

phtumshk don't have an authentic for comparison but it seems decently built. The wick holes on the RBA head it comes with look a little on the small side but you can always just use a Kanger RBA if you have one laying about, the supplied RBA is essentially just a copy of the Kanger RBA without the bottom threads or you could drill the holes out a little. I bought an Exocet RBA clone so i'm using that. Got curious, thought I can probably knock a DIY billet box up but need a boro tank but dont want to spend £50 on a real un (may as well buy a rev4 clone right). Only turns out Nature vape are knocking clone boro tanks out for £15.Thought id give ya a heads up, always handy to have a spare tank.

Id seen this elsewhere. They dont actually say what plant the nicotine is derived from so Im a bit dubious as I want to avoid tobacco product. My fingers are crossed for them continuing. As far as I know, most nicotine base is derived from tobacco plants, or the likes of nicotine sulphate (which also, AFAIK is also originally derived from tobacco). [ETA] - They state that their supplier is Alchem.... from Alchem's website it is tobacco derived. Re. synthetic nicotine from TW article: OMFG! youve just totally ruined vaping for me. I thought I was free of the dreaded weed. Just kidding Dave lol. I thought our regular nic was all synthetic so thats something new Ive learned.

Yep, fair play hope they do well with it. I recently seen some 72mg nic elsewhere listed as 'not for human consumption' like them old legal highs they used to sell. Cant see that staying up long.
