It's definitely got to be nickel robby. Although I can't find anything that states temperature control requires nickel, it must be as the temperature coefficient of kanthal is too small to be able to work out the temperature to the degree necessary. Although nothing is mentioned in Smok's product pages surely there's something about it in the destruction manual? |

Such a firmware change would be simple to implement. The one I have on the way has been confirmed as firmware 0006 so I may have just bought the right one. Things may (subjectively) be looking up for us  |

Yh, my plume veil is good, but not perfect. I'm looking for a dual coil dripper, big airflow and big juice wells. Posts must accommodate 2x0.4mm twisted kanthal. Brushed SS is best  |

You've tried the Bacon stuff before ? I have, yes. It was good, but at the time I didn't get on with it. Maybe that was due to the atties or me I never decided. But like I say, new kit on my hands may be worth another go. Really really clean taste of the juice, wicked like a thirsty elephant, and a little harder to burn - flavour drops of at the end of a tank more noticably than with silica/cotton wool (even though it is made from cotton) |

mmm. Thinking about it I've only ever used KGD or cotton wool in my current round of tanks/drippers. I think I'll give it another go, plus some of that voodoo. Won't hurt |

It's actually been available for a while now Greg. It's treated to remove all the oils and stuff which makes it wick a lot better. Where'd you find it? Stealthvape are showing OOS  ETA: tbh imho it's not worth the premium - to me. Good to try other stuff though, what suits me may not suit you |
