Thanks for the Welcome windows Answer to you question, Im not to choosey when it come to vv/vw or mechanical as long as the quality is good and they perform well. I am sort of heading in the direction of beening a collector, I just can`t help myself "But i do like the high end stuff" Find it a bit hard to justify the price they demand. Thanks True they are pricey but then you have to take into account that most mod makers are small companies that put a lot of r and d into designing a product . Then there's the cost of tooling and manufacture only to have some far eastern sweat shop come along and copy it with no thought about the quality. I have bought clones and own a couple now but theres a def difference in quality compared to the original. Examples of this are threads in coil posts stripping when tightening, o rings that are a loose fit etc. The worse one ive had was a trident clone that didnt have enough slot cut in the coil screws to even get the tip of a screwdriver in making the atty unusable. Im not saying all clones are like this far from it, there are some good ones out there. What do think however is that the vaping community should support the mod makers out there that are pushing the design envelope and coming up with new stuff otherwise the innervaters will die out. I do understand that buget dictates a purchase but what I tend to do is try the cheap clone first and if its something that I really like save my pocket money to buy the real McCoy, that way im supporting the guys who designed it. Yes i total agree with you, about our local engineering maufactures haveing to put a lot of work into the designing r/d and tooling of a new product. And yes im all in favour of keeping our cash in our local economy. But the fact is that in production of new innovative products that are comming onto a global market, by there very nature will be copied in there basic design. This is happening to fill the demand and supply to the consumer. No matter which country is picking up the gauntlet. All you have to do to get the full realization of this fact, is to look at our engineering and industrial heritage. It wastnt that long ago, that you wouldnt have seen a far eastern car or motorcycle on our roads, Infact if you did happen to come across any, there was usually a derogatory remark about the quallity. Now look where we our with are car and motorcyce industry. Yes im all for, if you want good quality, buy local. Unfortunetly what this means is high labour costs, which in turn is past on to the customer, so unless you have deep pockets, it meens that the majority of our society will buy with prudence based on there budget. I would love to see a way around this quandary, but alas, this is the modern global market we find ourselves in.

Hi Clivia Thanks for the welcome, Im sort of juggling machine`s at the moment. At home im normally using the itaste134 for the fruity flavours, the itasteVTR for the bakery flavours. The coolfire1 for mainly tabacco flavours. I would be using, Smok Winder with a Tornado C+ for my mobile all day vape. But im really looking to get into one of mods and drip tanks, Though trying to find a quality supplier is a bit of a headache. Specifications on battery output to oms resistance, and all that is still all new to me, any help you can give would be great.
Thanks

Hi all
Time for the formal introduction. Joined the forum yesterday, Just been having a look around the verious threads and like what i have seen so far. I live in Northern Ireland, and was a smoker for 39yr up until i discovered vaping, "four weeks ago". Since then i have been trying to get my head around all the information and specifications on ecigs and vaping in general. So as you can imagine! I have been feeling as if i have been in a mental maze, which at times has felt as if was reaching critical mass. ??? Needless to say, after lots of coffee, and lots of reading. I find myself drawn to Mods. But as im relatively new to all this, Im going to need as much help as i can get. Though it does seem like im in the right place. "At long last"
