The SVD should perform the same as any other vv/vw mod excluding the provari which works in a different way to most other mods. A bigger mod doesn't mean you'll get a better vape. At 8.5w it should give the same vape as a vv v3 at 8.5w. There may be a slight difference in output between 2 mods but nothing a bit of adjusting by turning the power up or down shouldn't sort out.
Not sure what you mean about the problem with the telescopic tube. Mine is the express version and has just one telescopic tube that you screw to adjust for 18350/18500/18650 batteries.
The fire button light is a bit dim on them, but if you press and hold the VM or PM button for 3 seconds it will display the battery voltage on the screen witch gives a better indication of charge left in them.

Only in the States and pre order now but may be something to keep an eye out for Kato Square Box clone. Todd reviewed the real one. That's great a mech VTR for your KFL, and pretty cheap as well. Oh no here we go again

Hi tracyj, a warm welcome to you. You've made good choices so far, You will like how long the MVP runs before it needs to be charged. My favourite clearo is the aerotank, but I think you can tell this is becoming a protank v's aerotank fight Both are very good, and can be got in different versions. The protank2 seems more popular than the protank3, and aerotank have a v2 but I think it just has a new airflow system. There are some new tanks just out the Mow looks the best out of the newcomers but I havnt tried it yet. Try out some of LT e-cigs flavours many many many to choose from and at £2.50ish for 10ml im sure you find a few that you like.

Hi PeterJ Congrats on your 3 months off the stinkies. You could try moving to Cornwall, I don't think you can move down there without bumping into someone from this forum.

Hi beetle a warm welcome to the forum. There are some pretty good tanks these days that give a good vape and are mostly hassle free (apart from getting a duff atty sometimes). Feel free to quiz us on whats hot and whats not if you need to.

Had my Penelope for a few weeks now and the harsh brushed finish on it was starting to bug me. They look like they have been finished with 200 grit sand paper.
So I got to doing the finish myself today.
Now I just need to get it gold plated.

Do any of you have an ADV? If so which one? Which favourite liquids do you have? I've tried RY4, Vanilla, Menthol, Strong Mint, Gold & Silver, DK4 and Blackjack so far and don't think I've found an ADV amongst them. I do have an ADV but its a mix I make up, Its virginia50% basil's custard 25%black majic 15% and anise 10%. I think its lush. Its a sweetish forest berry flavour with a hint of aniseed, but the 50% Virginia stops it being to sweet. Ill send you a 10ml sample if you like, Ive got loads of it. Just PM me.

getting back to whats better mod or vv vw mod ,and what would be a good buy and go well on a kayfun lite, have looked at box mods but dont like them as i carry my zmax around with me Its more whats going to be best for you. If you want to stick with hassle free vv/vw vaping, then a vapoorshark may be the next step up for you. Its is a box, but its only 3 inches high and 1.5 inches wide its tiny. This will give you 30watts to play with.
Taking the mech mod route without first learning the basics can be hazardous, but its not difficult to learn, and you could get yourself clued-up in the space of a week. You can basically put anything on a mech and use the resistance of the coil and the voltage of the battery to regulate the power.
I use a kayfun on a mech and on an SVD(15w) I put a 0.9 coil in it so it will work on both(yeh I don't know why my SVD fires a 0.9 coil either, but it does) on the SVD its running at 15W and on the mech it runs at 20W so I get more vapour and flavour when its on the mech. But I could get a DNA 30 based mod or I could lower the resistance and get more power from my mech.
You do need to learn the relationship between volts, Ohms, watts and amps to use a mech safely.

I don't think youll notice much difference. Lower resistance will probably suit higher power but .2 ain't going to change things much.

Take a look at the video I posted here link myself and a number of others make our wicks the same way as this and it works very well. I know decoy uses this method with a 0.5 Ohm coil successfully.

From what you describe I wouldn't think it was down to the resistance of the coil. When I first got mine I used 1.5 coils and the flavour was good. As I got used to making a good wick for it I dropped the resistance to 0.8 - 0.9 and the flavour increased with the vapour production. Are you sure your not getting the flavour of a slightly dry hit? You can get a bit of a burnt cotton flavour if its not wicking fast enough. Im sure its been cleaned a number of times before you got it so I cant see it being machine oil left inside from production.

I would hazard a guess that what i said is correct as it says on there if it's your website contact the hosts directly for them to tell you why it's not working. maybe they should reduce their coil an postage costs and they would make more money, don't get me wrong i love their coils have had one for 3 months and still going strong as opposed to kangertech ones which i have got through 5 in 8 days, Yeh they are a bit pricey those coils. If you need some more, send me a pack of standard kangertech ones and ill do 5 for you and send them back. It will give me something to do.
