I've only purchased 1 thing from someone on FB but that was on a retailers fan page and only £20 so i figured if i got knocked i'd just put a claim in with paypal as i marked it as a purchase anyway not sending funds to friends or family then i'd just tell the retailer so they could block the user. Didn't have to in the end though the purchase went through no problem. PayPal is another issue, seriously spending your time trying to get your money back, the protection is there but put a price on your time? I've made umpteen transactions on AAEC and never felt the need to pay fee's Suppose that's the benefit of a close knit community  |

If you mean the pages where anyone can sell & buy, then I wouldn't trust them at all, there are however quite a few reputable dealers/modders on FB like Vince's Tips, Ade Bousfield (think I've spelt it right) for example These are the ones that make me uneasy as after every sale post, theres an I've been scammed post As for reputable dealers, they have a reputation and a business to run As far as moderation goes.......we have the best on the web........ Chrissie remember guys without moderation we will have anarchy |
