Sorry Fred - I should have tagged Agenthoover specifically in the previous post!
We both want the following:
cylinder style, variable battery, airflow control, clearomizer.
I would prefer a medium size but doubt he would care either way so may end up better off with a larger size?

I think I'm right in saying that the tank in fred 's pic is an Aerotank MINI Maybe you should look at mini-protanks kitty778 ? Forgot to say before, make sure you get some spare heads for yourself and some kanthal (vapemesh company) and cotton for your flatmate. The wicks/coils are disposable items but can be replaced and rebuilt. You can replace them and he can rebuild them (for both of you) I'm kind of attached to the idea of being able to adapt the airflow (if that's what it means!). Thanks for the heads advice; I'm way ahead of you on the benefits of living with a tinkerer!

For him... I would get an MVP2 ... for his tank i would get an Aspire Nautilus.... others will have different ideas im sure, prepare to have your mind boggled ....haha For you..... im gonna let someone else answer that ....haha.. What about a cylindrical style for him? And what is the benefit of the Nautilus over a Kanger aeroflow? Why no recommendations for me? Have I already made a silly mistake?

My flatmate and I each celebrate our birthdays later this month (the wrong side of 35!) and we have been talking lately about vaping.
I've decided to take the plunge and buy us both our first vaping devices! I've been reading a lot about it, and have narrowed it down to the following summary (with apologies for any terminology mistakes):
Tank: Probably Kanger aerotank or another with the airflow tech? Not very clear of the difference between all the aerotank models, but I suspect my flatmate and I might prefer different types, so any thoughts would be welcome. Definitely clearomizer.
Battery: Variable, not sure about power requirements, would be handy - not essential - to vape whilst charging
I'm more of a easy life sort of person, while he would probably enjoy getting wildly into tinkering, if that helps narrow it down any? For now, I am only interested in cylindrical styles, though I can see there is a lot of love for the box style. I would prefer a medium sized tank, but my flatmate might prefer a larger tank style. It would also be handy to try out each other's kit with little fuss, so accessory compatibility would be helpful.
I can't seem to find a starter kit which offers the above, so which accessories/other bits should I get and are they a MUST or a BENEFIT?
Thanks for any replies!
