i have read the 2 threads on ECF relating to springs and the atty screw and it was all getting a bit too heated for me too ask about my possible problem.
MY PROBLEM
i started a new batch of 901 LR eastmall attys and within a week 2 have died.
they could just be a couple of bad attys.
after reading the ECF threads there is a mention of the atty connector screw being very slightly longer, and if the attys are just a bit overtightened there could be a short, is this right and could it kill the attys.
if the answer is "yes" is the only cure not to over tighten the atty, the thing is i really dont believe that i do over tighten.
i would just like your opinion on this if you could do that.
i do realise that it may be just a couple of bad attys but they are normally very very reliable, i had been using a previous batch ever since ive had the GGTB with no problems, infact there bloody hard to kill normally.
im going to run thE next atty sort of loose and see what happens.

Raggy  It's such a relief not to have to worry about batteries. scylla yeah, just got to worry about electrocuting myself now  in my car it has a usb port for plugging the ipod or any usb MP3 player or even charging the phone. im guessing this can be used for the GDPT as well, would that be right. raggy........ |

ive got 7 eastmall LR 510 attys i would swap with you for standard 901s if you have any.
to be honest i prefer the 901s so they are just spares now, but i do need to buy some 901s for my passthru when it arrives.
i dont know how near you are woodbridge but my father lives there so you could just swap them that way if its easier than postage.

Hang onto any failing/wimped off LR's though Raggy, the GDPT is perfect for breathing some new life into them.  perpy, i was thinking that also, even if you only got a day or so its better than leaving them in a box hoping they might cure themselves ??? which is where all mine are  O raggy............... |

Raggy, if you haven't got any standard atties at the moment, I can spare a couple of 901's - PM me if you could do with them & I'll try & get them in the post to you tomorrow thanks chrissie but im ok, i just went through my stash and i have 5 from a tw sale a long while back. it is just a tad aggravating when i have 27 LR 901s and 7 LR 510s. thanks though chrissie very kind x x raggy............ |

If you use it at 5v Wot, you'll need standard resistance atomisers/cartos . . . as 5v's will either blow LR's or they won't last you long at all. It's a 510 fitting Raggy, but works just as well with an 510 to 901 adaptor, which you'll get in that bundle . . . I did wonder that after I'd posted . . . want me to get you one, then forward it on to you as LF is the only Vendor GD sells the PT's through. thanks perpy for the kind offer i will try to order it myself first and see what happens. i think he asked me not to buy batteries from him but i cant find the emails now. raggy........ |

i have too laugh.
not so long back ( i wrote it here somewhere) i said im so so happy with my SD mk2 and i cant see my self being so eciggie obsessed that i would sit here with a bloody wire hanging out my mouth.
now i have my GGTB and its great....... but why am i charging batteries every night whilst sitting using the laptop and watching the tv.
so im thinking of also being a eciggie obsessed loony wired up to me eicg.
in for a penny and all that.
so what do i need people.
no offence to all you loonies ???

Here you go Raggy "I was talking with Jasmin at OKS recently and she mentioned having an ingredient list and kindly sent me a copy.
It proved to be for the Marlboro flavour and shows PG> 55%, Glycerol (VG) <30%, Pure Water <4%. This, combined with the fact that some liquids now appear thicker (to me) and produce pretty dense vapour, makes me suspect that juices which I'd assumed were principally PG may well contain more VG than they used to."The above is C&P'd from Tetsab's post #44 on the following thread : - allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1352&page=3thank chrissie, none of this really adds up does it. i give up really, i can only state what george told me and what was written on there forum. there is no PG in any of there juices anymore. the thing is you cant call something, lets call it gunk. its a PG mix you sell it for a year then take away the PG and swap it for VG and still call it gunk. it is now a totally different product, you could call gunk VG i suppose. that was my issue i bought a mix i believed to be a PG mix, ok maybe it wasnt PG but that dont matter i bought what i like because i like it and it dont give me problems, to then change it by colour flavour and VG content is what my issue was, you have to tell people at the very least so has to give them the option of buying it or not. this new info just muddies it all again really. raggy... ive found the problem!!!!!!!!!! |
