I used the protank2 tank all day yesterday and most of the time there is this taste, I'd thought it was burnt but maybe its not, this mostly happens on the second and third pull. I get an amount of bubbles coming up after each use. I've gone through many settings but the same happens on all air and power settings. Eventually last night i went back on the boges in a tank. I make my own juice and I only use low percentages as I don't like heavily flavoured juices, I only use 2% golden rollie and 2% caramel. Could it be that it is just killing the flavour and not burning?.

if you think it may be the coils try one of Virtual Vape coils the flavour in them is amazing and can be rewicked this one is jons coil ronaldo, mys wifes is jons coil on jons kit, ive been calling them unicoil. earlier i was using a kanger head that came with the protank 2, this had the burnt taste. its (jons) miles better now with a bit more air.

ive only put this one in tonight ( a new unicoil)so its not been re-wicked. all my juice is 100% pg, dont know if that makes a difference, im not getting a burnt taste with this one like i did with the kanger head. dont get me wrong its fine and better than my boges in a tank but on my wifes evod battery @ 3.8 with the kit tank it has a lot more whoomph to it, i think it needs more air but i kept it right down after as was advised it may have been causing the burnt taste when i was using the kanger head. while typing ive give it more air at 8.5 and theres a big improvement.

What battery are you using ragjoy , VV/VW type or plain Ego? If it's a VV/VW then turn the voltage or wattage down a touch until that burnt taste has gone. You can recoil them Kanger heads yourself using THIS sweet little guide. thanks but i dont really want too take that route, been there once and didnt have the patience for it. what vv or vw is good for the uncoil. ive tried it on 7, 7.5 and 8 watts on my zmax but in all honesty it (unicoil) performs a mile better with the virtual vape evod battery and there tank, admittedly i am switching the air and watts around a bit so ive obviously not got something not quite right.

thanks ripshod, igual. do the unicoil ones go in the same as the kanger ones?. Yep, being identical they're a direct replacement. Except better, of course yeah, lol. i just looked again, my wifes one has the blue rubber on id thought it was quite different from the kanger head rubber till i looked at a new one and see they was the same. just about too fire up the unicoil now, the kandar was still tasting burnt, ive took the what looks like a silica wick off the kanger and washed it as well as the coil, dried it and put it away, be alright if im desperate. edit: can i use the cotton wool in the kanger if ever i use them, the one wick i washed came a bit unravelled.

ive just received my protank 2 + the airflow from myepack, very quick service. im currently using one of the 2 kanger heads that came with it before i move onto the unicoil heads once ive got the hang of it. i am getting a very slight burnt taste with it. ive had a punt round the net and cant really find a solution other than removing the the bottom rubber which will cause other issues. i have screwed the head into the airflow then the airflow on the the tank at start up. ant solutions too this?. thanks.

I just Usually plug my mvp into my xbox with the cable it came with, or into a PC it charges fast, sounds like it wasn't giving the battery all the power it needed. im a bit paranoid with what i plug them into after a past experience, so i try too make sure i am doing it right by using a .5mA output usb plug. however tonight im trying on a kindle usb as thats the next lowest i have at .85mA to see what difference it makes time wise. the thing is she will obviously need another battery as 4 to 6hrs charging is a large part of any day with no ecig.

i totally agree and im not suggesting for one minute that vapescapes plugs are bad. but at least with a samsung, apple or any other big brand you are using a real plug. there is plenty of usb sockets being sold that are not what they say they are, how can you check?. my wifes 900mah battery took six hours and had only been used for one day or 2.5ml of juice. it could well be the blackberry .55mA i was using was clapped out, for the last 1.5hrs i used a kindle .85mA usb charger which i will also try next time........in a fire bag lol.
gary...........
