I have that horrible everything tastes burnt / muted / like shite thing. It started about 5 days ago, I thought it was my new protank 2 but after trying 3 different heads and 3 different juices, I began to think it was something else especially when my nautilus minis and evods were the same. It got that the only things that were bearable/ tasted of anything was red astaire and a homemade apple peppermint. Today they have gone too, I just got a taste of dog breath when vaping the apple peppermint and the dog was nowhere near me  .

Any advice on how to get my tastebuds back / how long it will last would be great.

I will do sammy13 I will take a trip out there possibly tomorrow, and see what he says. Really disappointed more than anything, if I knew it was a clone I wouldn’t have paid full price.

Serves me right for trying to buy vape gear without parcels arriving at the house

Thanks all, I asked if he sold the aspire nautilus mini (as he had one on his mvp 2 on the counter) and this is what he gave me. It has an aspire nautilus mini box with the scratch and check strip on it. If it was being sold as a clone I would have got it out of the box to check the quality and made an informed decision but I certainly wouldn’t pay full price for a clone. I am hoping to pop back in to town to take it back and get a refund.

Meanwhile I have ordered a genuine one from myepack, along with a protank 2 icon_shoppingm I was trying to buy from a shop to avoid having all these packages arriving and the OH asking what I am buying now

Pretty similar to you, but I will leave it in the tank for a couple of days and try a couple of pulls a few times a day. If there is no hope it then goes down the sink. If there is something there in it that I can taste a bit of promise, I will hang on to it and see if I can add something to it to make it vapeable.

I have probably tipped about 60ml down the sink in total as there was no hope.

Well after my first mixing session on 23/9 I have sampled some wares

The lemon/lime peppermint is all peppermint with a chemical taste on the exhale. I will add some more lemon/lime and see how it goes.
The apple peppermint is all apple with a chemical taste on the exhale. I think I will add some menthol to that.

I did a mix of a C9V strawberry premade and added cookies & cream, custard, vanilla and coconut. I know I should probably steep it for longer but I gave it a try and it is wonderful 

I really want to try my sour cherry cola but I only mixed that on 30th so will leave that alone for a few more days.

I was a bit down after trying the peppermint ones but the strawberry mix has lifted my spirits and I am optomistic I can get some decent flavours.

Once I have gone a couple of days without vape mail   I will be ordering some RA concentrate and some backcurrent to do some black astaire and some red astaire to keep me going.

Woop woop they are here, typically they arrived when I was out but mr red took delivery “what have you been buying now!”

Had a little heart attack as I thought they had only sent one, but the black one was in a tiny box. Bonus I got 2 ego adaptors but I think I only ordered one.

Fired them up, loving them so far but will need to have a better play later.
