Just wondered if anyone would know if kangertech have changed their coils..? I odered some Ni200 ones from efun & kanthal 1.2ohm & both times I expected to get the split ones so I could have a go at trying to re-coil them, but on both occasions ive been sent one piece ones ! the ones i want the ones I get sent (same one piece design for the Ni200)

I guess youre on about this email..... The Government has responded to the petition you signed – “Fight the European Comission on the ridiculous regulations of e-cigarettes”. Government responded: The Government recognises the potential benefits of e-cigarettes to reduce the harms of smoking. The TPD introduces a regulatory framework which does not ban flavours or the use of refillable tanks. The revised Tobacco Products Directive (Directive 2014/40/EU) (TPD), was published in April 2014 and the UK is now required to transpose the TPD into domestic law by May 2016. A consultation on the draft regulations and impact assessment was held from July to September this year. The TPD will introduce additional rules on the composition, safety and presentation of e-cigarettes to ensure a high level of health protection for UK citizens. Whilst the Government recognises the potential benefits of e-cigarettes and their role in reducing the harm of tobacco use and helping smokers quit, the quality of products on the market remains variable and they are not risk free. The regulatory framework introduced by the TPD is intended to provide for minimum standards for safety and quality of all e-cigarettes and e-liquids, information to consumers so that they can make informed choices, and an environment that protects children from beginning to use these products. The TPD does not ban new flavours in e-cigarettes and e-liquids. The TPD permits Member States to make their own rules on flavours in e-cigarettes and e-liquids, however the Department of Health has no current plans to do so. Refillable tanks will still be permitted under the TPD. Tanks will be limited to 2ml in size and rules to make refill mechanisms ‘leak free’ will be introduced. Consumers will remain able to purchase tank devices and separate e-liquids. E-cigarettes do not fall under the definition of a tobacco product under the TPD. The UK’s implementing Regulations define “tobacco product” to mean a product that can be consumed and consists, even partly, of tobacco. Following implementation of the new EU rules, there will remain a range of e-cigarette and e-liquid products on the UK market. In parallel, the prohibition on the sale of e-cigarettes to under-18s, will help ensure these products are positioned as alternatives to smoking and not a product that introduces children to vaping or smoking. Department of Health Click this link to view the response online: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/105139?reveal_response=yesThe Petitions Committee will take a look at this petition and its response. They can press the government for action and gather evidence. If this petition reaches 100,000 signatures, the Committee will consider it for a debate. The Committee is made up of 11 MPs, from political parties in government and in opposition. It is entirely independent of the Government. Find out more about the Committee: petition.parliament.uk/help#petitions-committeeThanks, The Petitions team UK Government and Parliament

Your not the first to ask for this so its on my list. I've spent me vaping budget this month (already!) But next month I'll treat myself to an Atlantis(unless anyone one has one collecting dust to donate?) and begin modding! Your normal tips fit the Atlantis v1 but not the v2 whose DT is, 0.646mm high Top inner dia 0.427mm / outer dia 0.590mm Base inner dia 0.35mm / outer dia 0.468mm / depth 0.252mm, single o-ring is almost flush with the outer dia Yeah unfortunately it was the v2....I wouldnt have asked if it was the v1, not sure why aspire do mad things like that, its not like they already sell a range of drip tips to fit it....sold it now

If Ive offended anyone then I apologise profusely, this was certainly not my intention....I prefer to have a conversation without things getting out of hand, but thats hard to do with typed text because as ive said it has no context & people can read replies & assume different things or the way something is said, its totally different when youre talking to someone face to face. I think vapingbads last post sums it up 100%
I myself, & im sure 99% of members on here have no problem with you or what you do robby....not a day goes by on here when your not flagging up bargains for members & offering help, as for gearbest the amount you do in promoting them I'd say its very generous & only fair for them to pass the odd bit of kit to you for free, im sure no one has any objection to that either.
The only thing I'm unhappy with is members being jumped on everytime they dont give a positive review of a supplier, i think its unfair & people shouldnt try to discredit them when they do, every company in the world has happy & unhappy customers, you cant please everyone in life.

There's a nasty insinuation in this thread that those that say anything nice about GearBest have been 'paid off' somehow which is just the same as insinuating people giving bad reviews are whinging or blowing it out of proportion is it not ? Again (I hope they arent getting "big gifts" for it!) is tongue in cheek humour....thats the trouble with typed text, it has no context....like smileys

Such a shame youve decided to leave, not good to lose more people over this, but if you think its unfair for people to be allowed to give both sides of a coin regarding a supplier then....hang on....let me find the "roll eyes" smiley !.... No contact in china ?...really?...you should get one, theyre great!....(perhaps I should think twice about giving information that could possibly help members get the mods they want next time) We all try & buy from the best place, its just unfortunate that people cant accept the fact that not everyone has the same view on who that supplier is! You now sound like a troll markus ........no crystal ball needed. Here's the rolleyes smiley No Ive just assumed that buggritt said that with a bit of tongue in cheek sarcasm & he's not really leaving, so thats the kind of reply he's been given....pretty simular to you assuming everyone that has a bad experince with gearbest is either blowing it out of proportion or just whinging.. And no I didnt tag or mention vapingbad, didnt see the need to as he'd posted it in the thread....plus last time we had a conversation like this someone threw toys out their pram when I did tag them.
