Friends of mine took themselves to B&Q and talked units with them, had a plan drawn up.
They then found a local fitter who went with them to Howdens and fitted according to the plans they had..

Clivia, I'm sure people will bite your hand off if you can tell them where to buy a Provari for £104... Might be more like £5 a week..

Oh gosh, the end of life as you know it!
Even 'mutley' type kittens are hard work.
Can only imagine how much fun a pair of Bengals are going to be.....
Lucky kitties to be living with you.

Well done!
It's amazing that it's all so easy, isn't it?

I have the 18500 Spanish Olive wood version.
I don't have the means to take a photo but it looks exactly like it does on the web site.
You won't be disappointed, but may be momentarily surprised by the weight and width..
(am I allowed to say that?)
Would appreciate ideas about a tank that would complement it.
I'm just using a bog standard i clear on it, and it works very well.
I suspect this is a future-proof piece of kit...

Don't know if this is a good place to mention that lots of towns/cities have wood recycling places where recycled wood (there's a surprise!) sell wood really cheaply.
It occurred to me that some of the people who create mod stands and the like might be able to access really cheap bits of wood. Softwood is usually available in abundance, hardwood in small pieces.
Just thought I'd mention it.
Do you think it's worth mentioning on the Mods forum?

16 years ago my sweet little Daisy gave birth on our bed.
I'll never forget the way Ed, my partner, yelled to me that something was wrong with the cat! The first kitten freaked her out, and I had to remove it from the sac and rub it to life. Had to slap OH too...
She had 5 in total, was a conscientious mother, but mightily relieved when they all left home.
We knew it was time for them to go when I came down stairs one morning, found a dead rat on the floor of the lounge where they all spent the night.
Daisy had egress through an open window, had obviously brought the poor creature home to try and teach them how to hunt...
She didn't embrace motherhood!

Finally managed to collect my Mor Crann today, courtesy of having a name even more unusual than Clivia. (I am fibbing; I was lucky enough to be offered one by a someone who had purchased on a whim and decided it was a mod too far.) I have to say I am astounded at how beautiful it is, even better than I imagined.... It's certainly heavier than I thought, but I hadn't taken into account the big chunk of brass that forms the body, and wider, for the same reason. But it feels comfortable in the hand, even a small one like both of mine are (I'm one of those lucky people whose hands match each other.. ) It's warm and tactile and will only be enhanced by use. No need to worry about scratches and fingerprints. No need to polish unless disaster occurs. I love the sensitivity of the beautifully made/designed firing button, and the fact that my humble iClear 1.6 vapes like a train. I really need to find a tank that does it justice in appearance.. I thought, before it arrived, that I would take it everywhere with me. I might have to revise that thought now because I would hate to lose this perfectly crafted device. Lynda.

Dolly, Welcome back! Maybe something like this would work.. www.amazon.co.uk/Sealey-MC5908-450Kg-Scissor-Motorcycles/dp/B001SFVG5O/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1400075567&sr=8-5&keywords=scissor+liftSmall enough to manoeuvre around and would give you a good solid base to work on. Of course, Mr Dolly would have to place the item on there for you, but he can be trained. On the other hand, you might want to save the chest of drawers for later (if you're thinking of selling it then it would be a higher priced item, so worth saving until you have perfected your craft.) You could do the rounds of boot sales, charity shops, local waste recycling depots etc, and stock up on picture frames, boxes, trays and the like. Doesn't matter if they are metal rather than wood. Both surfaces will be transformed with paint or decoupage. My bathroom cabinet cost me £2 from the local tip and has been transformed with decorative paint effects and some glass paint, and it was, frankly, a fairly tatty bit of MDF furniture... You'll also come across stools and little tables going for next to nothing. If nothing else comes to hand then decorate flower pots, tin plates, little things that are unloved.. I used to do lots of this stuff, loved it, lost the motivation when there was no longer anyone to tell me how great I was..lol Best of luck, Lynda

Have to admit I was hoping for something a little more exciting.....
Still wish you good luck though, even with the disappointing lack of scandal.
