Thnx for all replies and advice received, this does seem a very friendly and helpful place to hang out while getting to grips with my new hobby. In reply to 'hijack', the VTR does indeed appear to be a well made device, however I work in a very harsh environment ( heavy engineering fabrication shop ), and it would break my heart to see it clogged up with dust or mangled. So I think I will go for the MPV as my workplace device, and keep the VTR as my evening home vaper, along with the suggested airflow controller to protect the threads, as the MPV will be cheaper to replace if/when tragedy occurs. Regarding the MPV, what would you guys suggest as to a good set-up ? I see 'BVC' has been mentioned, but being a noob, have no idea as to the pros and cons of such things. The main plus point to the MPV for the way I plan on using it is the battery life, and no need to carry a spare battery around. My hope is that I can use it all day at work, then recharge it during the evening at home ready for the next day, am I on the right track here ?

Hi Folks, and many thanks for the warm welcome, particularly 'Pep' for the compliment . I'm sure I will have many questions and advice to ask of you guys, until I become well-versed enough myself to offer guidance to newbies coming after me.

Hi All, I'm not exactly a vaping virgin, several years ago I dabbled with it, using 901s I think they were, and a Janty. Far too much faffing around with battery changes and topping up the carts every 10 minutes. I've started looking into vaping again recently, and came across this forum. You guys seem very knowledgeable and friendly, so I joined up. Using info and recommendations I found on here, I ordered starter packs from MyEpack for my wife and I. We received our Mini Protank IIs a couple of days ago, and, well, what can I say ? Very impressed with the experience compared to my last try ! I even ordered a mod ( I do have a tendency towards 'shinyitis' ), a VTR iirc. I still have to learn all the techy names and acronyms ie; is a 'tank' just another name for a 'clearomiser' ? I do have a question tho, I am looking for a device for use at work, it needs to be able to last 12 hours without recharging, and be substantially built enough to put up with dust, heat and the occasional knock. On my shortlist for that atm is the MVP from MyEpack, good choice ? Or am I heading down the wrong street ? Also, any recommendations for multi-outlet USB mains adaptor ? Thanks in advance for any replies.
