I would personally wait for the sigelei to iron out any issues that we arise with it being the first release. My rule of thumb is to try and avoid anything until it's at V1.2 of V1.5 Maybe check out the Vaporshark Rdna or if you want something cheap the new eLeaf iStick allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/45236/eleaf-istick-mvp-type-deviceLarge rechargeable battery and from all the reviews I'm seeing lately it's built like a rock

Thats what I want to hear! So what kanthal do you recommend and at what resistance? I'd probably start with the 24G 0.5mm stuff and get the hang of it first, you can do quite a lot with it. What sort of batteries have you got? And what atty? Agreed. 24g is still easy to work with. When you get to 18 & 20g it's Soooo hard to coil and work with!

24 or 22g kanthal is best for getting a low resistance, 0.3,0.4 even 0.5ohm If you want to get low ohms while still being able to wrap long coils to cover more surface area then consider the wire I linked you to or something like royal wires. Thr stuff I Linked to is the same stuff that G-plat wire is. Can add more wraps which give you more surface area but lower ohms than regular kanthal

My plume is my daily go to Had the same build in for probably the past 6 weeks and still going strong. You've chosen one of the easiest RDAs to build IMO.

Yeah they will be fine. For peace of mind you could just stick a bit of cellotape or similar over the end and make sure they are turned off. Sure it's not needed but with batteries your better off being over cautious, especially on a plane

When you say batteries are you talking 18650 batteries? Or ego batteries? Only reason I ask is if putting batteries in a case together make sure you cover the ends up with some sticky tape or something. I have a horror story of when I had a couple of 14500 batteries that came out of a case in my pocket full of change and ended up meeting themselves and my Jean pocket!!! Was probably the scariest thing to happen to me vape wise. Was on a bridge walking to work when next thing there was soaring heat from my pocket

By far some of the tackiest things I have ever seen. I'm all for personalisation but by god! Urgh.

Twisted would work best. I use 20/22g which I believe is like 0.6/0.8mm when I'm blowing "clouds" I use 28g twisted for my kayfun and it gives a nice warm vape with decent flavour

Yeah 25R are decent batteries. If you are wanting them for long life there are much better options than the VTC5 and if you are wanting them for cloud chasing there are also much better options IMO like the VTC3

Tempting to offer him a list for £100 up front Seems like everywhere you look at the moment people who haven't got a clue and jumping on the vape bandwagon to try and cash in. Does he really think that sending off 1000's of emails is actually going to get him anywhere. With all the junk I recieve from China on a daily basis he has no chance.
