Well, as you know, I do both In some cases I have felt an "outsider" in both camps Some smokers get prickly about my vaping & some vapers aren't so friendly 'cause I still also smoke! For me, it's just as much a life saver as it is to any 100% vaper. It means I've cut 50% of the damage tobacco does, out of my life. With serious health issues, this is priceless. I hope, gradually, over time, to increase vaping & reduce smoking more, but I know, for me, the way forward is slowly & gradually. Putting yourself under unnecessary pressure in a stressful life ain't a good idea. NOTHING else has worked for me & I've tried ALL the quit-smoking stuff out there. I would love to be satisfied with full time vaping, I'm hopeful eventually that will happen.

What a shame Liland & Kath's threads aren't combined - feel it would be so VERY helpful to them both. It's SOOOO confusing when you start
Kath, Welcome I got myself in knots when I was trying to find info & start. IMHO if you follow either sets of advice here, you won't go far wrong - don't worry too much about which to follow
You are likely to be able to sell on here anything that doesn't suit your personal taste
I'm not one of the super-lucky ones that went 100% vaping, from day 1 - BUT - the e cig has still been a fab thing for me. I am a heavy long term smoker and I still smoke. The e cig means, for me, that I smoke half what I used to, which is brilliant. I started with a 901 & still use it happily. There are some that think (not on this forum ) that you're EITHER a smoker OR a vaper (e cig) - NOT SO! I find they combine well. I feel I'm doing half the damage I was before discovering them.
Good luck whatever you do

Lolli, this is a screen shot of all that non members can see of our profiles - not a lot More than happy to create a members only section if that's what people want You're right - not a lot No qualms there at all Members section, on the other hand, might make things muddled & confused with threads all over the show! Maybe best not to.

Chrissie I think it helps having the last 50 posts; makes it easier to catch up if "one" has been AWOL for a few days! I like the notion of profiles being for members only. What about a 'members only' section (Jimmy-James & the rest of us should maybe put the "underground" posts there )

What a complete load of .............. rubbish > Such a con! Any kids/children that get hold of a credit card & the internet can pretty much order ANYTHING - not just e cigs! Alcohol, porn, even various drugs! Perhaps there will be a ban against Tesco's online service, incase kids order up a crate of beer & take to school. The argument really is an insult to human intelligence. Has the world turned into a flock of sheep, that all bleat in unison!

Oh thank you Jaki Lynda may have one for me that she doesn't use & I was also wondering if the Maplin one at £12.99 would be powerful enough. I went to Maplins & they didn't really have a clue, but wouldn't let me try one either, to check if it would work, as the packet seal needed to be broken & they weren't up for that.

Just popped in to say "hi all" (Been hectic - hence not about much - not even had time to juice test yet!!! ) Thanks for posting that Kate - lots to read but most interesting. Think the e cig company's arguments are very convincing. Good stuff for everyone to read. Fingers crossed that it makes a difference (edit - friend said something on radio 'bout it yesterday??)

I so hope they allow the "samples" through the door - feel it would really make a difference! Good luck. (would willingly have gone in with the "whip" lol - pun!)
(in hindsight - what a great thing that is !!!- could have donated my SD!)

Grrrrrrr Customs! A friend of mine returned from the Canaries with ciggies. Numpty but she didn't realise the Canaries weren't in the EU! She had 1,600 cigs confiscated! I was really surprised they wouldn't let her pay the duty ???
