firstly Scyllas taste buds died many years ago lol and technically you will always have some flavour in there but if you have 5ml of 36mg liquid and add another 5ml of vg or pg that will make the liquid very tasteless at approx 18mg dont know if that will help BUT experimentation is the key and if you bugger it up there is always the flavourless 30mg liquid both i & Lisa have in the diy section to boost it back up James Thanks for that info James and as you say its all experimental. Of course Scylla the clever way would have been to try so many drops of each first to test it lol. Ken.

We'll have to find someone to do the buying and distribution cos as you know I am a hermit. Oh no... there's a BIG snag - I can see fights breaking out over the colours cos there only one of each I've just found 5ml of 35mg Drum from James which I've never tried. As it happens I've just emptied a nice squeezy bottle so I'm going to mix it with PG now and I'll tell ya what I think, using it with blue foam. EDIT - Well, that was a dead loss I mixed the Drum with PG, too much, so it was tasteless-ish so I've had to put some Golden Virgin in it scylla We'll have to find someone to do the buying and distribution cos as you know I am a hermit. Hi Scylla, just curious but how much PG did you add to make it tasteless ? The reason that I ask is that I have some juices that I wish to cut and was going to use VG but I don't want to loose the flavour completely. There must be a maximum that can be mixed with the base liquid before the flavour goes. Maybe James could advise. Ken.

Quote Foxy: my point was that my Tornado batteries are almost six months old so, like me, they're getting a little more feak and weeble but are still lively. And may I say Foxy your point was very well presented. Ken. x

Quote Foxy: My Tornado batteries have been very reliable - I'm still using two that are around 5 months old and there's no lack of vapour and they still take 1.5 hours to charge; I'm getting a good 3 to 4 hours vaping from them and I'm a heavy vaper. Just to make a point here for possible newbie guests looking in: When Foxy says that her Tornado batteries last for 3 to 4 hrs that is because as she says, she is a heavy vaper and probably was a heavy smoker at one time. In contrast I was a light smoker, 15 to 20 cigs per day so I am now a light vaper and only use 1ml of juice per day. So in my case a Tornado battery will last me a day and a half and sometimes two days before I need to charge it. Hope that this helps someone who is trying to make up their mind about which device to purchase. I have no experience of the SD as I have not got one but have to say that I am completely happy with my Tornado. Ken.

Quote Foxy: The day someone produces the perfect atomizer, the e-cig industry will die!!!! End quote. And that is exactly why no one will produce one. We live in a throw away society and it pays to have products with a limited lifetime. Ken.

Well it's certainly confusing when both hot and cold means it ain't working scylla I'm a bit confused myself. ??? I use a tornado with a 510 atty which always runs hot and it vapes well. I also have been using the same atty for 6 weeks up to now. I would have thought that if it went cold and no longer vaped it would be dead, at least thats what happened to my others. Ken. I have to now re-access my post here. I bought as a newbie six unbranded atties from a supplier. Three of them burned hot, then went cold wimped and would no longer vape. The forth one got very hot vaped well I thought but inside two days wimped and died. The other two burned hot all the time and lasted for roughly a month which as a newbie I thought was good but having said that the taste was minimal, not much throat hit,and not much vape. But I thought in my ignorance that this was normal and that maybe peoples claims on vape, throat hit etc were slightly exagerated. Now because of this discussion I changed my atty to a branded Titan and tried it. Well heavenly vaping ensued. Now I realise what vaping should be like. I have great throat hit, loads of vape so great lung hit, great taste on all my juices and even those that I had thought tasted poorly. Now the other strange thing is that I have noticed on forums that peeps say that you need to draw slowly for about 5 seconds to get the required amount of vape and it also shows you this on the videos that I have watched. Well I would say with the atty that I am using at this time I only have to press the button on my tornado for 1 second and I have loads of vape. Now what I want to know is, is this normal or not? This is just an ordinary 510 atty not a LR one. Whatever the reason this is bliss. One thing I will not do again though is buy unbranded atties again or at least not without a recomendation. Ken. Phew Glad to get that off my chest.

Lindsay, I have bought Juices from four different suppliers and the juices that I really like the best so far are from OK Smokey and they are Golden Virginia and Cuban Cigar. Also Menthol from Paradise Vape. If I never had any other selection I would be happy with these. Lets face it when we smoked ciggies we did not have much choice. Most of them were crap tasting but we needed our nic hit. Ken.

No you aren't alone Hanow. I've had atties that still get really hot but hardly any vape & a very airy draw. I think I tempted providence. My atty went this morning, got very hot but no vape Good news is put on a new atty from the TECC sale which is a Titan and I have never had so good a vape. I am a very happy bunny at the mo vaping James cigar and its lovely bubbly. Ken. PS, Hanow you are definately not alone.

Like deesigner said in her post, I haven't died, but I have fallen by the wayside. :-[ Just back from nearly 3 weeks in Greece, and seeing all those half-price cigarettes and people smoking all around me was the worst thing for someone with my self-discipline! (Ken, I really admire you for stopping in that enironment.) I'm cross with myself but I'm taking a deep breath and getting myself back on course before that hacking cough comes back to remind me why I did it. I actually LIKE my e-cig too. Grrr. Hi Inn, well I'm ashamed of you falling by the wayside just because ciggies are cheap here lol. Don't worry now that you are back in Blighty you will get back on track again. You were on holiday, loads of dosh, eating out all the time, cheap ciggies and everyone smoking around you lol. As long as you enjoyed yourself thats all that matters as life is to short to worry about the small stuff. Now get that ecig out and try again. Ken. x
