Seconds what Chris said. Goodness, the vaping time has flown by Ken. Indeed it has and I have had no desire for a ciggy from day1. All my friends are amazed as I had smoked for 50 years and no one thought that I would ever stop. Was not sure myself but had a good feeling about it. I love vaping now and can honestly say I enjoy it more than I did analogues. Ken.

Getting back on topic after a delightful interlude. I have been vaping now for 49days,8hrs,2 mins and 5 secs. In that time I have spent 440 squid on vaping supplies. I have been of late years a fairly light smoker 15-20 cigs per day so I reckon that I have enough supplies including hardware to last me a year. This will definitely save me money but I have to say that the effect that it will have on my health is a more important consideration. Ken.

Lisa, this is a part of the Q & A section of your site:
17. How long do the parts last? The e-cig industry is still in its infancy and sadly, there has been and still is a lot of misinformation out there regarding the expected life-span of batteries and atomisers with some companies making impossible claims about the supposed longevity of what are actually semi-disposable items. Here at Cloud 9, we aim to be totally honest with our customers so that the end result is the best vaping experience possible. Although the basic e-cig atomisers and batteries are now being manufactured to very high standards, they are functional devices that by their very nature will be used fairly intensively and so they will degrade over time and eventually fail. This is to be expected and these parts should be considered semi-disposable. You can sometimes extend the life of these parts by following some simple cleaning and maintenance steps, however, you should not expect either batteries or atomisers to last more than a couple of months of average use. If you are a heavy vaper, you can expect their lifespan to be considerably shorter than this. We are completely honest about this so that you will not be disappointed when they do fail and so you can make sure you have adequate spares.
So where are the high standards and which atties last a couple of months of average use?
Ken.

And we struggle through the BS trying to find the answer for you/me. But we certainly do not consider a 5 Pound plus atomiser a throw away item FFS.... Two months ago as a complete newbie I bought atomisers from Cloud 9 at 5.75 each. One of them lasted nearly a month which I thought was good value. The other two lasted two days each. This was before I discovered this forum. Ken.

I think this is a sellers reply Lisa. I think sometimes consumables is used as an excuse as to why things don't last and to encourage people to buy more. I see nothing wrong with people trying to prolong the life of their atty and some do quite well. I get a little bit sick of our throw away society sometimes but of course its good for business. Ken. I am sorry that you think I would put an opinion on here JUST to sell stuff. This was my opinion before I was a vendor. I've tried every method known to man and I was just wasting my time and in some cases, shortening the life of my atties. This world is too disposable, [glow=red,2,300]it is also too cynical.[/glow] I hope you don't think my response was cynical Lisa. However if you get nearly a month out of one atomiser but only two days out of the other two then something is wrong or am I missing something. ??? Ken.

Most people try all the methods but eventually come to the conclusion that it's all a waste of time and in some cases can actually shorten the life of your atomisers - they are are consumable items, use them until the performance drops off, then maybe up the voltage until they die off completely. Life is way too short for messing about......... I think this is a sellers reply Lisa.
