watsits shinyitis beckons Fast tech and robby are thy friends Get the kit right and it's plain sailing 3 years plain sailing for me. VTR is heavy but doesn't take long to get used to. also a huge fan of the MVP but prefer my VTR as I have a nice leather case for it I got from Leigh - silly nilly on etsy (can get you the link if you'd like? If it's not on her store email her and she'll make up) I also have the smart-20 from FT (fast tech) with a case from heaven gifts which I like. It's very light compared to the VTR but sometimes necessary Finally welcome You may have a point on the VTR. I have just had hold of an MVP the owner swore it was genuine but it felt really plasticy and cheap feeling not like other Innokin stuff I've had hold of. I like the idea of the case especially if it fits on a belt.

hiya watsits welcome to AAEC forum and congratulations it all gets easier from here, and you look like a prime contender for 'shinyitus' I bet you will soon be buying tons!! I'd definitely reiterate and say that the likes of fasttech (and other china companies) are a real saving, most gear we buy comes from there anyway, with fasttech they put 'authentic' in front of items that are the real deal, like kanger, innokin, aspire. There's great savings to be made by ordering your coils and having stock in. You soon get used to the few weeks wait and plan accordingly Yeah I realised what I'd said as soon as I hit the post button especially with the E-cigs seeing as they invented the things. I have had a nosey around the sight and will probably be buying some smaller stuff soon see how it goes then maybe try some of the mods. You may be right about the Shinyitus bit we have a very expensive disease in skating called SEDS "Skate Equipment Deficiency Syndrome" which has cost me a small fortune over the years icon_shoppingm

Hi Watsits,I'm coming on to give you a slapped wrist! You Say you have 'only' Bern smoke free for 10 days, which is nowhere near the rest of us. While that is true, it is irrelevant! 10 days is a huge achievement, and what you have to remember is that those 10 days as your first 10 days will have been so much more difficult than the last 10 days for any of us who are accustomed to it, give yourself some credit and DON'T compare!!! That said, hello and welcome Slapped wrist accepted and thank you. I'm more surprised than anything in the fact that this time round I'm not missing it in the slightest. I bought it on he Friday used it all day woke up the next day lit up a cigarette as you do first thing in the morning had one pull thought ew and that's been it since. I still blame that picture of the Cigarette with the gunk coming out of it though. The bus journey into work is the worst though the smell of some of them and then you think I stank the same yuck!

watsits- hi and a warm welcome from me too. It's always wise to assume that coils last a week of fairly continuous vaping. If you buy enough spares, and one last longer, you are only saving the £2.50 it costs for a new head. If you want to order a bit more in bulk try Fasttech in China, the easiest way we know of spending money! Kanger Dual Coil heads 1.8ohmKanger Single Coil heads 1.8ohmFasttech also sell a vast range of batteries, mods, tanks peripherals and other goodies (including juice) which will quickly and effectively drain your wallet. The downside? The shipping is free, but usually takes between 2-3 weeks to arrive on these shores from the Far East. If you can wait, you won't be disappointed! I've always been dubious of buying from China due to the vast amount of fakes I have had to deal with in the radio business in the past. Saying that though just about everything comes from there in the first place so are they fakes or the genuine article? It's like the chicken and the egg which came first Jesus I've just had a look is there anything they haven't got! it'll take a week just to go through the batteries.

watsits my previous post was on the first page and i didn't tag you. Can you post a photo of the label showing the ratios and the manufacturer please, just personal interest. It's from the stockport-e-cig-company There are no ratios on the label just VG Based. They may have been telling me the truth or it could be the fact I've got better kit this time I've no idea either way it does seem to be agreeing with me this time round.

hey there.. everything your saying i can relate to 100% the cheepy ecig things sold in the average corner shops and other places now are a great way to find out if you like vaping.. but you soon start to get pissed off with them and back on the fags.. i too went to a kanger tank and a better battery along with some really nice flavours.... i have to admit i smoked the odd roll up at certain times but used the e cig the rest of the time.. i then switched to a rebuildable device and a mod ( battery ) with full control over the power.. havent touched a fag in over 8 months, and was a heavy smoker for over 25 years. but the bottom line is well done and stick with vaping.. one definite top tip for the stage your at is have spares of EVERYTHING... if something dies, runs out or breaks and you only have the one of them the only other option is a pack of smokes.. i fell over so many times due to not having juice, spares, batteries etc. Juice I have plenty of the thing I wasn't prepared for is that the coils don't seem to last very long. I'm waiting on some for the Protank mini to arrive. One is tasting burnt and the other doesn't seem to give much vapour off at all now but tastes fine. I'm determined not to go back to Ciggies no matter what even if I have to try and set fire to my juice and inhale it that way lol.

Hi OP, welcome to the forum. One thing has surprised me is that i'm assuming that the Kanger mini tanks are protank mini's and as igual above mentions, i would be surprised is they could keep up with a 100% VG juice. Put us out of our misery and post a picture of the label for us Of the tank or the Juice? Not sure I could get a picture of the laser etching of the Tank but 1 of them is already tasting slightly burnt given it's only a week. To be honest with the red bull flavour I'm using at the moment the slightly burnt taste seems to add to it. I've ordered an Iclear 30 to try what would you recommend for 100%VG based juice?

Well done on getting to this step, tenacity and perseverance. I might hazard a guess you have a intolerance to PG. Is the juice your useing now 100% VG? Or is it something like 20%pg 80% VG. Most flavouring concentrates do come in pg only however more companies are now doing 100% VG liquids. There is an old discussion on the forum here allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/31118/100-vg-liquid-recommendationsI'm using 100% VG according to them. I must admit I was sceptical but it seems to be hitting the spot for me. It maybe that its just better quality than I have tried before or I do have an intolerance to PG? I may try a few samplers with a low PG content and take it from there. I cannot take a sneaky puff like others do in work as the vapour just hangs around like scene from a horror movie but that said I don't seem to be wanting to hit it every 2 minutes like they do either which could be due to using a 24 nicotine content.

Thank you. I've already lined up my short list for the next battery to either an MVP, Eleaf or vamo so trawling the forum to see which would suit me best. Tough to choose between those. Personally the MVP would be my choice but all down to personal taste and size. I've tried a friends VTR (need to work out more to lift the thing) whilst I like the fact it takes replaceable batteries I must admit I am swayed by the MVP just for the fact, I could, if needed boost my phone!

Hello and thanks for letting me join. I have been trying to give up Cigarettes for the last 30 odd years and after trying just about every form of replacement patch and sucky or gummy thing known to man, Being a hairy bloke cannot keep the things stuck on without loads of extra tape, I decided a few years ago to give these new fangled E-Cigs a go. so tried a starter kit from one of the new stores that were popping up all over the place. I hated it seemed to be coughing more on these than the cancer sticks I was trying to quit next I decided to try one of the cig alikes waste of time and money. So it was my 48th birthday last Sunday (11th) and every time I get on the bus to work, I've been faced with the picture of the fag oozing something unmentionable out of it, I decided to invest in a "proper" one this time. So off I trundle get myself a couple of Kanger mini tanks and a vision spinner battery and after I told the guy the problems I had had in the past he recommended the pure VG juice and not to go with a tobacco flavour but to try a fruity flavour. (If he wasn't a bloke I could kiss him) I've not even looked at a cigarette since and to be honest the stench of people getting on the bus who have just had one is rank. I know it's not long by some of the people on here but I feel great for it.
