It is certainly worth trying to call them though. I've managed to get a package the same days as the red card. I think they all close at 1pm each day though. Otherwise it will probably be Monday. My sorting office used to try and redeliver the package the next day if you didn't get in touch. Not any more though. If I don't collect it or call them to ask for a re-delivery, they send it back to the sender. Steve i had a flyer through the door the other day from the Royal Mail and following consultation with customers. From September they are going to start leaving more packages with neighbours to save the aggro of arranging re-delivery and such. www.royalmail.com/delivery-to-neighbour |
