I've had a play with the rba, after trying various amounts of cotton I got it to wick properly and it produced loads of vapour but it had a burnt flavour though the cotton looked fine dunno what I did wrong Make sure you pull the cotton in towards the coils on the bottom of the deck so you can see the holes and liquid can run in freely.

The only Subtank which takes different gear is the original Kanger Subtank. All the newer ones take the same coils, except the nano, which can't take the rba. Cheers bud you've saved me from attempting a unsuccessful transplant, I found it hard to believe they'd fit cause the coils look so different Welcome to AAEC Dino, you could always rebuild your subtank coils as spares for when your rba goes that's if you've used it?

Why? I haven't had a problem with it according to my results earlier in the post? Been pretty much spot on? Because I don't shoot for ohms, I build a coil for the atty and air flow .2 for duel .3 for single and haven't had a coil I couldn't fire yet. Wanted to go low on the SX to test a few day ago so twisted some .3 think 6 wraps come out at .09, undone 1 wrap to get .07...for me that was quicker than entering it all in steam engine. I see, it wasn't me asking though I was just trying to help out banditruss with starting off as it can be quite annoying when starting without a little help from a calculator, I prefer thicker wire to work with so 26g I find is quite nice, I didnt work it out with steam engine to get that I just made a coil with 10 wraps it was a bit low for my likeing so added another wrap. But to try and work out what banditruss wanted I worked out my coil on steam engine and then tested a few to see how accurate it was

Okay cool I'll give that a go, I've not had a problem using it when building on an rda when I'm out and about with nothing to heat up but I'll try it and see if the flavour improves

Right I'm wrapping around a 3mm screw driver - one legs is 11mm the other is 13mm so say 12mm, according to steam engine my coils should be coming out at .11 so I'll get some more info for you in a moment banditruss. I've got four coils by here I made this morning, on my mod they come out at 1 - 0.11 2 - 0.12 3 - 0.11 4 - 0.10 And the one I made last night in my tank is .09 now Is that Vape Mesh Co wire? Give it a clean with acetone or IPA first, I find some of their kanthal even needs a rubdown with we & dry paper. It's the crazy wire company, why do you say this? I tend to just put my coil over the stove.

Don't use steam engine for NI200, yes a bit of experience but quicker for me just to make a coil on the atty, read it and +/- a wrap or two and make a new coil if required. Why? I haven't had a problem with it according to my results earlier in the post? Been pretty much spot on?

lol no probs youve helped me understand the calc now really if i only wanted 1 size wire best to go 30awg,....one last question whats best tempered or annaled ? ive know idea lol I think it's down to personal preference, annealed is softer than tempered which has been treated somehow to make it less likely to snap I believe, I've never used tempered before so I couldn't say if I think it's better.
