Quick update,

Following my correspondence with the marquee supplier this years cost will be £855.00, a saving of 25 quid on last year.
Happy days.
So we have a target, all we need now is enough pledges. 👍

It’s that time of year again.

In the absence of anyone else stepping forward 🤔 I have been duly elected to organise this years fund raising thread again. 😎

At present the plan is to go for exactly the same spec as last year. The cost for 2017 was £880. I would expect it to be a bit more this time around, though hopefully not by much. 🤞
I will update the cost target when I have spoken to the marquee suppliers this week.

This thread is to get a gauge on how much members are willing to contribute to achieve our goal.
The rest of this post is a shameless copy and paste from last years thread. 😁

To that end can we get 100 members, or as close as, to chip in £10 each.
Its not an admittance fee. It's for the members from the members whether attending or not. Voluntary, of course.
If we can get enough pledges I will then supply details of where the monies need to go to and start chasing those on the list.
If, as last year we come up short, then it maybe necessary to ask if anyone is prepared to pay a little more to make up the difference.
At this stage it's just to see how viable it is. So come on people. If your're going to VF this year it's for your benefit.
Somewhere to hang out should the weather be inclement. And also a place to catch up with fellow members.
And even if your not going every donation helps.
