Coming to the conclusion that I may be sensitive to the pg in my mixes. Can anyone give me some help/advice on how to make 100% vg as when I tried calculating my mixes they kept saying I needed more pg.

Well got my kayfun 5 back today. Keith at cdv has been fantastic and managed to get it apart with rubber bands! He set it all back up for me and when it arrived, jeez! Had to use the rubber bands again to get it apart to fill. I've now put coconut oil on the o rings and so far alls good with no leaks. Phew!

In which case I will stick to my KFL+ v.2 cos it 'aint broke (though it needed a good clean with rubbing alcohol a few weeks ago) so I don't need a new one! Think you're very wise,I've got 3 KFL+ V2's, all clones and they're great! Only reason I bought the V5 is thinking it would be easier to fill and having a large glass tank to see the liquid.

Latest report... Tried taking the whole thing apart to replace o rings, test for leaks without the bottom one and it's completely jammed. Pretty sure its a machining thread fault now so will be returning to cdv for advice on refund. Out of interest I bought a sxk clone but it's yet to arrive in the post.

hi I'm not a kayfun owner but the problems you are suffering sound very typical of a top fill tank. Just sounds like it's losing vacuum, does it happen full or around half way? I've had a few tanks that vape so so until level with the deck bell then either give an amazing vape..... or spill their guts. Have you replaced the top cap and chimney seals yet? Usually the simplest fix although to be frank I'd just do them all. Looking from the outside SVM listened to the market rather than the customers in regards to the V5, gave it the features but didn't really address the niggles. All it needed was a bigger easier fill, bigger deck and more airflow. Topfil and rotating juice control... ermm? Yes it seems to happen about half way. I'll change the top seals and see if that works. Thanks

Unless you all ready are, you could try turning it upside down when you open the juice control to equalize the pressure. Good idea, haven't tried this yet . Thanks 😊

Just built SXK V5 today and all is fine, 1.4 ohm coil,14,15 watts,3 pips air hole, no leaks,so well pleased. sxk are good manufacturers. Think I'll be getting one of these too soon 😊 Did you get it from ft?

There's been some discussion on one of the other forums about the bottom o ring below the build deck preventing the tank from screwing all the way down. The juice shut off should work without any o rings. So the test was to remove the lower o ring - attach the tank and screw it down all the way - then fill and leave the top cap off. Shouldn't leak in this state. If it does then there is a machining error in the threads. Thanks I'll give this a go.

Got mine when they first came out from Creme de vape. It started to leak on and off from the air vents. Not just a bit either! Thinking it was just me doing something wrong I carried on with it until the other day the glass cracked out of the blue. Got onto cdv and they immediately sent me a new glass tank foc. Fab service. Thought that would be the end of it as maybe the glass was faulty in the first place. Unfortunately it's not the case and I've still got leaking.
