Do you know, I was a bit nervous about joining and asking questions,but you are all so helpful!! I've got more out of this thread than all the wandering around the internet I've been doing and all because I was worried about sounding silly  I'm like my Nan, who when being shown the internet and being told to 'ask' google something she did just that....out loud! She thinks the internet can see and hear you All your advice is helpful and useful as I really do have so much to learn both about forums and vaping! I am gonna speak to my hubby about buying the Riva as you are all positive about it and I trust your experience in e-cig matters. I really can't believe that I haven't smoked and keep getting moments of absolute elation that i haven't....its incredible....so conversation with Mr freela tomo and maybe see if I can get a better colour than pink or white....or just wait for better colours to come in...hmmmmm |

How right you are Disco Des, Health is the most important thing here definitely. The money I've wasted on juice I won't use and the cartos that I had to throw away because i filled them all wrong and made a mess :-[ wasn't a fortune and not as much as if i was still on the patches even, never mind spending money on a weekly basis to clog up my lungs with 4000 chemicals!! Puts it in perspective  Alvoram,Thank you for working all of that out and posting links etc, I appreciate that and will look into your ideas Khromm and Scylla Thank you for your encouragement and Kirsty thats brilliant thanks for clearing up the mystery of the juices for me, I do fancy trying the cherry menthol one too! Aw,Thank you for the welcomes Guys, I did think I would probably have to buy another kit, but didn't want to make another mistake and buy without questioning the purchase. It makes sense tho that one Riva battery wouldn't be the answer Karma thanks for sharing that info. The discount code is brill too and now I'm really tempted.....is the Riva a whole lot better than the 510 one i have or will it not make much difference...its a whole new world of stuff I don't quite understand.....ohms and mahs and confusing stuff....oh dear  I just know that I've never gone this long without a cig and I really don't want to go back to the horrible things. I'm amazed that vaping even exists and is so enjoyable too . |

Hi Guys, I'm finally saying hello and introducing myself after a week or so skulking around as a 'guest' reading all I can about e-cigs here. I've been a heavy smoker for 22 years and for past 2 years have been smoking roll-ups as cigs got too expensive...esp at 40 a day at my smoking peak! Anyhoo, I smoked less on the roll ups and 3 weeks ago I stuck a NRT patch on and stopped smoking....I then endured 6 days of utter hell as I battled the demon,I had panic attacks,the lot....by day 7 I was so upset and ready to cave in but my hubby popped out and bought me a disposable e-cig. Wow! I can't begin to tell you how relieved and amazed I was just to get the old hand to mouth routine back along with the vapour etc. Chucked the patches and thought i'd look online to see if I could buy the disposables cheaper, didn't know anything about e-cigs or the forums or anything. So without forum advice but looking to buy, I bought this www.gecigarette.co.uk/products/116-genesis-510-kit.aspx mainly because of the price i must admit and as a set I don't think its too bad but then I found this forum and now i'm thinking maybe vaping could be better? I am constantly having to recharge the battery which is annoying and i didn't get much vapour or satisfaction from the cartridges so, I bought some Kanger Cartos from Liberty flights and much prefer the vapour that i've gotten from them.But i still feel like i don't know if i'm doing it right.... My question is if I try to upgrade to a Riva 1100 for a better battery life and vape do I have to buy the whole starter kit again or can I just buy a Riva battery to use on my 510 atty and cartos? And would my 510 charger thingy work on the Riva battery? I just seem to have so many bits n' bobs and have spent a fair bit already without feeling that I have completely satisfied my craving for an analogue (although i still haven't had one-Yay!). If I do need an entire kit, where would be the best? I also believe I may be intolerant to PG as I got headaches/itchy skin and tummy upset when vaping on it, so changed to VG for last 4 days and this has stopped-so have a couple of juices to give away if anyone wants them? Oh and the other silly question is-why do some sites sell juice at definite amounts of nic ie 18mg & 24mg and some sites sell it at variable amounts ie Med 12-18mg and Low 6-10mg? Any advice would be gratefully received and i apologise for my wittering post and stupid questions  |
