I've been practicing coiling an Evod head. I've got my multimeter set to ohms but I don't know where to touch it with the leads

I'm still stuck on choosing a new device. They are all pretty much the same in terms of performance so I would like to see some pictures of the mod & tank together.

"That depends on the battery. Using tape measure /a from base of Bottom cap to top of head 18650 = 145mm 18500= 126mm 18350= 112mm My misses usually if going out will run it on 18350 for the handbag. At home she likes it big! and to last as long as possible. edit to change to 18350" Oh, so about the same as my Vision & Evod at full length. For some reason I had in my head that they are massive. How long do the 18650 last compared to the 18350? I am thinking about getting one of these now.

So many votes for the MVP I would have thought a better upgrade would be something like the Vamo (just got the V5 myself) and a couple of good batteries that way you're always using the same device, one battery for vaping while the other charges. What's he/she going to use when they run out of charge? I suppose they could buy two MVP's but it's not exactly the cheapest solution. Clearomisers... great advice from those who said stay away from rebuildables you'll be straying from an easy vaping experience into a potentially nightmarish one if you don't get on with RBA's. Aerotank is a great choice but the Aerotank Mega has just come out and if reviews are to be believed it's a whole lot better for just a little extra expense. Best of luck whatever your choices Yep, I won't get a re-buildable, I am still not really sure what they are. I can't make up my mind! I was choosing which colour MVP I wanted earlier and now it's at the bottom of my list. I've been on youtube all evening, just watching reviews. More people on here say the Aerotank but I've seen a lot of people on YT saying Nautilus... just makes my decision harder. But if I want a nautilus it won't fit in the VTR so I'm back onto choosing a battery... Now I will have a look at the Aerotank Mega, how is it better than the regular one?

hypnoclown said:- "Do the evod heads fit the aero tank? I might start making my own wicks as well it doesn't look that difficult and I have all the tools." I think the old style Kanger heads will fit the Aerotank. If you do start recoiling and want some old heads to use I have several which I don't use. I can send them to you if you want some to practice on. Thank you for the offer but I have quite a few Evod heads I can practise on. I was thinking I can get those sorted and keep for backups. I am wondering if there is an easy way to remove the coating that is on the Evod battery & tanks because they have peeled quite badly and they would look a lot nicer without. What do you all think of the VTR? It's more expensive but the SVD, Vamo V5 and Zmax all looked really long to me. I need something more compact and that will fit in my pocket. I prefer it over the MVP just because as someone said, once the battery has gone in the MVP it's dead. Also I prefer where the tank sits on the VTR. Getting the VTR, some batteries, a charger, aerotank and a few heads I can rewick should last me a fair while.

Worked it out, easier to use my head - rather than calculators
Sorry this was my problem- I hadn't made some juice in a while and I couldn't figure out the nic strength if I added 10 ml vg to 20ml pg 24mg.
I tried using those calculators but then I jusy realised that if I added 20ml vg it would half the strength to 12mg so 10 ml would be 18mg.

Wow this website is a really good idea. I have missed a lot on these forums.
Has anyone tried tried the Chef's Vapour Twisted? I love Twister lollies. Might have to get some Troll's Blood purely on the name.

Thank you for the replies. I think I will get an aero tank then which size fits the MVP best? I am not sure about the shape of the MVP but it everyone is suggested it so I might go for it. I've found the coil & wick are the important thing for both vapour & flavour. I don't find any difference in the vape between a Provari, Smok SID, Evod 650mah & EgoT 650mah until the 650s start to lose power. I think it's because I use the same heads in the tanks on all of them. I use the Nature Vape heads which have a micro coil and a cotton wool wick. They are expensive but the coil lasts for ages and even I, Mr Clumsy, can rewick when I change flavours in a tank or get a drop off in flavour when the wick gets a bit burnt. I think the Nature Vape heads fit the Evods so I would suggest trying them and then decide which tank, with a bigger capacity, to buy. I like the Nature Vape Midi Pro tank because I can fill it using the fill holes and a 14gauge needle on a syringe. No more Mr Clumsy spills and the 4ml capacity is enough for me. Do the evod heads fit the aero tank? I might start making my own wicks as well it doesn't look that difficult and I have all the tools.

At the moment I am using Vision Spinner with Evod tanks but I want to get something new. I want a tank with a bigger capacity and more vapour production & a new battery to go along with it.
I don't keep up with all the vaping devices so I don't know what I should be looking at.
I've heard of rebuildable tanks, maybe I need one of those?

I am wondering if there is any way to attach a lanyard to batterys like the riva/spinner etc. I am trying to free up some pocket space since they are always stuffed full.
