(LAST QUESTION OF THE EVENING - lots of great advice please )
ok, so onto carto's/tanks and would really appreciate some advice on this as i think this is something i will need to buy and with a 15% discount would like to take advantage, and going to do it tonight to try to get the order out before they go off on hols.
noticed the regular carto's seem to get as hot as an oven hob after a few proper puffs at a high(ish) voltage, and seem get the burnt taste really regularly, been constantly dripping/topping up all night... pain in the bum.
However, the 3.5 DCT tank is great, but not particularly economical if you have a few have juices you want to hand.... i saw in another thread, and can't find it now, some slimmer looking clear devices with what appeared to be a type of metallic element in the middle that looked smart (CE2,CE3???))... would these be good alternatives, or do i splash out on the tanks, or put up with burning my fingers constantly dripping liquid into regular carto's??
advice please guys.. and thanks Karma for all your tips tonight!!!

final Q before i get onto my main cart/tank query...
clicking the red button 7 times tells you the battery charge, at what stage should that drop to before its a good idea to recharge it?

I don't have any LR cartos so can't talk from experience but I think the LT will automatically adjust so as not to put so much 'stuff, thingumybob' trough the LR thingies Think i need an early night may buy one of those panasonic bats though before i go, any idea when the 15% discount ends? quote from freedomvape - We will be on Vacation from 16th - 27th March 2012 so any orders received during this period will be sent out upon our return. We are offering a special 15% discount should you need to stock up prior to our holidays. Use code HOLIDAY15 (minimum spend applies).

Incidentally, using the Mom&Pop RY4 which i really like, if i put the voltage up above about 4.3 i start to really lose the flavour of it that i enjoy. is this common that the voltage effects the flavours a lot, not just the punch you are getting?
(sorry for all the questions, still have a few more before i 'don't put in my order tonight )

well, i'm pretty sure i must have won the lottery tonight so at 15% discount i'll probably buy 1 of the panasonics as a spare...maybe...
I am supposed to be using standard and not low resistance boge's on this correct? i have got a few mixed up ( accidentally did not note which were with which juice i filled with - most are standard )so its not going to cause any problems is it?

right, first serious question. 15% discount at the store i bought the LT from, so even though i am absolutely 100% not spending another penny on anything for a while, what do i need to buy..?
firstly, are the panasonic batteries worth buying as upgrades, are they better performance in general, longer charge life or more recharges/drop in performance than the standard batteries?

she is happy with the SD keyring although needs plastic drip tip as she has a nickel allergy and the chrome tip blistered her lips up... she is happily using it in the pub now!!
have swapped out for a long chrome tip, looks much better.. i'll be fiddling with the voltage meter all night i reckon..
should i be turning it on/off whenever its resting or is the idle power drain pretty minimal??

ok. firstly, apologies for causing a bit of an argument on another thread.... hoping to get some advice here though to help me get the best out of my lovely new toy
appears pretty well made and sturdy.. the wife was horrified when she saw it though!!!
So, first thing i did, using a couple of youtube vids for assistance filled up my DCT tank with HS Delight 24mg.. kinda strong but i'm still into that tobacco hit/taste so thought i'd give it a go... voltage between 4.0 to 4.7 at the moment, any thoughts on that combo??? ( pretty noisy crackle when using the tank though, guess that is normal?)
any reason to use the ludicrously long clear drip tip or fine to swap out for one of my shorter chrome ones?
several other questions coming shortly, but also trying to catch up on Nigel Slater episodes at the same time..

this has to be the dumbest question on the planet.
plugged charger in, both batteries, showing red light at bottom.... which was up do the batteries go in the charger, is the small ringed end the + end? if i switch them around the lights go green...
doesn't get much dumber than that?
or do they just take ages to charge... been like 2 hours now
