30Q's are 15A continuous discharge, 30A will be the pulse rating. Always build to the continuous rating to be sure of being safe. So that being said, in a mech using these 30Q's which are 3.7V, with a 0.25ohm build I'd just be under the 15A discharge rate? Used steam engine for the first time ???? That's right.

Agree with everyone else's comments though. A mech is a pipe bomb in your pocket if you don't build correctly or you use the wrong batteries. I strongly recommend doing a few builds using the drippers on a regulated mod before putting them on the mech.
I've never built below .15 on my drippers/mech. I know I could push the batteries further but I just don't think it's worth the risk.

While i very much disagree with catface26 - i run a kayfun on a mech at high ohms - the thing you need to get to grips with is ohms, watts, volts & amps. For mechs, basically your build will directly affect the power you are going to get. You need to know the safety limits of your battery and make sure you stay within the limits. www.steam-engine.org/ is a great site for this. With the ohms law tab you can have a play with the numbers and work out what power you will be drawing on your battery. When you build your coils in your dripper, make sure you test the ohms on an ohm reader or on a regulated device to make sure you haven't got a short. The petri rda is a great rda to start with, if you are going to get some prebuilt claptons, they should fit right between the post without too much fuss. For wicking - Japanese cotton has always served me well but cotton bacon is also very good. I'd be worried if no one disagreed. Anything higher than .25 is pointless with a mech IMO. Apart from looking nice. With the amount of voltage drop you get then taking puny hits with a mech just defeats the object.

Mechs are kind of designed for low resistance builds really. You may as well stick with regulated if you're gonna put a .5 ohm build in.

If you're willing to sell separately I'd be interested in the Evic.

Yes top airflow Is that where the juice is leaking from? Will I have the same problem with the standard one I have ordered? I have the 22mm and it doesn't leak from the top cap.

I bought too many and need the cash I did not know there was a top fill and a standard one. Do you know how to fill the standard one. They are both top fill but one has top air flow and the other one doesn't.

I said recently that the new firmware didn't affect my Evic but I'm now pretty convinced that mine is randomly dropping the wattage by 0.1 or 0.2 watts by it's self! I haven't fully tested everything as in locking it before putting it in my pocket but it never did this before and its too consistent to be coincidence. It's only mildly annoying as just have to press up a couple of times to get it back to 60w.

Have you tried replacing the o ring on the top cap? I got a brand new 22mm version recently and it was leaking from the seal between the glass and the base. I knew I was wicking it right so I swapped out the o ring with one of the spares and it solved the issue. I know your leaking is in a different place but worth a go. Best tank I've tried to date. Loving it!

Yes everything you said is written and I see the point but, Only the select few would know in a thing as big as this. And them select few I would say are evil and would want a one world order. And by swaying people away from the Bible and creating wars could be part of that. If that have brainwashed the masses then they will certainly be getting deeper into their closest pawns to keep this probable fraud going. Ive no doubt a sailer went around in a circle and thought the world was a globe 500 years ago and Newton might have really believed he'd found the magic gravity. But us it all true Hmmm I do wonder. This kind of made me giggle - 'creating certain knowledge (like archamedies, Pythagoras, plato, scorates etc) ' Creating being a possible creation of untrue or erm well because I think this it must be. Hmmm yet although I'm not sure I bet every one of them above was tied with sun worshipping masons and sold their souls to the devil. Is the bible not real? Well I hear there was no mention of aliens and lots of other galaxies. Just a flat plain created in the waters and a impassable firmament. Like I say this is just an unbiased maybe hypothesis I'm spouting but hey there's still no proof otherwise. But plenty flat proof according to globe calculations Not being offensive but none of what you just wrote made any sense. Sounds like the true ramblings of a flat Earth conspiracy mentalist.
