Don't forget the main Member of the European Parliament that pushed through the TPD was BRITISH. Linda Macavan www.lindamcavanmep.org.uk/ From her About Linda page: "She was parliament's lead negotiator (rapporteur) on the Tobacco Products Directive, one of the most significant pieces of legislation of the last Parliament which introduced changes to make smoking less attractive to young people" Yep..its significant because the GATEWAY OFF smoking is to close. The GATEWAY ON to smoking via vaping doesn't make a lot of sense? In any case if fags/tobacco remains freely for sale her efforts have wasted valuable time and money and continue to kill smokers. She is a fool! Less Attractive = use a colouring book for packaging and put the tax up....again!

This is at the end of John Redwoods blog this a.m
"There are said by the government to be 64.5 m people in the UK, but there are 68.4 m registered with GPs".
You could easily ignore/miss the significance of that. What it shows is gross incompetency by the authorities in managing this country. As such I can only bundle our Govt up as culpable along with the higher one...the EU. They just ain't doing this right and it is very fundamental.

Forgot to mention the Bomb Disposal Unit... God knows how they sleep at night with what they have to face. Tendency to demolish an awful lot of beer stocks. Thats what I remember of them in RAF Germany. Plus a lot of red flag waving and big explosions in the distance. That was them dealing with our UXB's generally. Quiet folk though? I have a load of B/W pics from the 60's taken by their official photographer. Some bombs and an awful lot of us and them round tables swigging beer noshing hahnchen and pommes frites usually. They often appeared because we ran the Nordhorn bombing range in Germany. Not so much them scared, more us because the trucks they appeared with were loaded and red flags flying.

What they need to do is make a tank of two stories. Screw one on to gain more volume? Purchase separately and then its thread and seal aggro....

I've got two of the cheapo machines circa £250. No complex functionality (good!). I have two because they tend to eat the commutator brushes per two years. So the second is in the garage waiting to fire up from my last brush replacement and commutator scrub.
I'm still recovering from 2 years back when I went to fix a Hoover tumble drier. They had pretty much welded the outer casing on so I could not get at anything internal. This is a dead simple stuff..but they did that?
I think Indesit suddenly forgot how to keep fluff away from electric motors...an "engineer" wishes to visit, sorry?

Just put a request for names on a UKIP MEP site. Roger Helmer who don't smoke/vape but clearly sees the logic and safety related to vaping. rogerhelmermep.wordpress.com/

What always comes to my mind is...Corporate Manslaughter.
A risk reduction system is available that is a viable and successful substitute for smoking. Yet it is heavily hampered.
Smoking effectively is encouraged albeit at a wickedly high price. So its a long term illness and perhaps an early bad death?

My wife mentioned something in the press recently that I haven't found. Man wakes from operation and who is a smoker. Asks nurse for a fag and the nurse smartly provides an e-cig. Somebody in a bed nearby went completely ballistic.
I used to watch the smokers outside Greenwich QE London on visiting my mum in there. I had the feeling they spent most of the day/eve outside? Similar at Worcester.

BBC World Service Program - Health Check (May 12 2016... approx 0300 GMT) Informed the World that over the last 3 years in the US some 4000 children had been poisoned due to Vape Nic. Apparently 1 death. Reason seemed to be bottle tops insecure mainly? Am not sure if there exists a link to that program but will be looking. It will get a repeat shortly I suspect. Update.....Link: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03t0mfq

If u have the money you obviously do what you want. I use a £16 30W iStick from FT for firing test and the replacement control board for that is a fiver from FT. And I've changed one that just died after 10 months. Tweek coils with metal instrument s/driver/pliers...MOD box will short/low resistance protect. If not ...new control board.
Configure the mechanics on a cheap ohms tester (round thing) and fire on the iStick if necessary. I often forget. Accuracy... +/-10% for electronics/electrics unless somebody is paying for instrument/calibrated components. Thats a bit spendy and not normal China stuff.

Dr Ridley has spoken in the Lords a few times of late on this subject. Since that place is strategically stuffed with puppets from the other VI parties I know it won't get far. Also he is associated with Nigel Lawsons organisations here: www.thegwpf.org/who-we-are/academic-advisory-council/Lawson of course is known for anti climate views. Well, its forcefully said that he is despite him often saying climate has changed..but how much and is it of consequence? Answer = Miniscule and No! Its a group of people that show common sense and opponents wish to strike that down at enormous expense to tax payers. It is the prime reason to dump the EU really.
