From the complaint
65. Upon information and belief, the circuit board included in the Cuboid was copied by Joyetech China, which reverse engineered Evolv’s DNA® 200 circuit board.

I can't be bothered reading through all that legalese crap. Which part of the RX200 or any other Joyetech/Wismec devices is claimed to be infringing the patent on the Evolv boards and how? It must be in a separate technical document. That may need quite some explaining to a court?

I saw similar about 7 years ago...in fact I experienced it. It was the knock off of Serial to USB converter devices where the chip was copied along with its driver software for Windows. That was a China mainland knock off on a Taiwanese chip manufacturer. www.prolific.com.tw/US/ShowProduct.aspx?pcid=41I contacted the manufacturer when I detected it, to which they examined and confirmed the knock off. Slight change to the driver to detect the chip uniquely and millions of converters died globally on an upgrade to Win7. Don't think they bothered with court cases as the faker was not resident outside China. Dunno...didn't care? Sh*t continually happens!

Pretty serious stuff. I assume an independent expert technical witness or two are somewhere. I have an iStick 30W that I know is fake. And it occurs to me now that I read the complaint... its likely a faked knock off? Which makes me wonder about the 30W control board at FT: www.fasttech.com/p/3120900Styled?

My old man has cataracts He knows taking him for cataract surgery is on my bucket list Luckily the injection I had directly into my eyeball was on my second op Not an injection I could look away from For some reason, he aint in a rush for that one NHS cosmetic surgery ...thats what I called an attack on a sagging eyelid. I never expected the suggestion for it from a real boot faced female GP (there are similar male types of course). Now that took about an hour of fancy female knife work and and a huge amount of jabs. Amazing stuff...but not major. This is in a local hospital attacked and centralized elsewhere by Blair. Some of us are really lucky but that central job still goes on. Dentistry has been screwed and the big time "fallout" is well under way. Part of stupid UK!

Done a few fillings without the jabs...still trying to straighten my toes out as a result. Interesting one was stitches in hand without a jab...just don't look.

calnorth given that due to summer its impossible to ship batts I rather suspect the route they were taking was land based via Tunisia then through spain where the dessert heat makes them extremely dangerous item to transport, they were already banned from shipping via sea due to the Tianjin incident, which I suspect means batteries will only be available for those who are getting them from outside of china for the next few months until air shipping is resumed no doubt the incidence of rewrapped substandard stuff will increase along with the numbers of those suffering harm from such dodgy cells ... I understand some of that nanotm having lived in the 40 deg C areas with and without aircon. And the variability of air cargo is a worry. Not sure of the dog leg route(s) by air but as regards bunches of Batts it looks to be all over.

isabel22 did post something along those lines but I managed to place an order for another 4 Samsung 25r's this evening which will likely be coming via surface mail and take about 7 weeks to arrive ... Hello , We just got the news that we won't sell batteries Because its slow by Sweden Post, and its dangerous on summer. And we will update if we have better ways to ship that Thanks for your support Best regards Isabel This came by email to current FT customers last week: Registered Airmail Of Sweden Post Cannot Ship External Batteries TemporarilyFT Services Board: www.fasttech.com/forums/order-support/t/2040508/registered-airmail-of-sweden-post-cannot-shipIn FT email today came this: "Due to post office made changes on the shipping procedures, all the packages shipped via Sweden post registered airmail will come with two tracking numbers now. " blah blah check directlinktrackedplus.com/blah/blah That now has a second tracking No. appended. I have not bought batteries and in fact I cancelled them because of 1st email above. I suspect shipping is heading off to PostNL as with GearBest (tracking don't work) and I do have batteries in a GearBest order..so where they are I do not have a clue. Not even a notification of departure to GB as with FT tracking. I think GearBest have notification from air cargo companies that Batts on any waybill will negate shipping. Or may even be off loaded somewhere along the way. Snail mail result?

The 60W is well over what you want I suspect. It has a temperature control TC function as well...not that I use that, but most MODs now have the TC facility almost by default. It works very well at 15W for me and of course will go higher. I think at 20W and above the vape tastes too dry. I'm not a big cloud creater either. I also ordered a silicon sleeve for it at the time...about $1.5 (USD) which stops it clanking around on surfaces. And if the top tank leaks the juice runs down the inside of the sleeve mainly...not all over me as it used to! My delivery was about 3 weeks from ordering. That appeared to be 4 days to actual shipping, about 10 days en route and about 4 days hanging about with R. Mail. Its not all R. Mails fault because incoming freight is filtered through Customs etc. That is free shipping of course with no battery ordered

Thanks just wondered as ones in fast tech are a lot cheaper than ones in town hence why i wondered if they were genuine i did notice the bit saying serial no removed not finding i stick anywhere else not keen to buy from eBay x I think they remove the verification (serial) number on the box (back) because they are not allowed to sell into the UK market...maybe wider EU also? I got an iStick 60W from FT recently and it is a substantial MOD. Also, the battery can be easily changed under a magnet side cover. The 30W and similar requires soldering iron surgery.

Anyone know how long it takes for things to come if I buy from fast tech and are they genuine stuff? Thanks x They are genuine unless described as Style. There is a fiddle though as FT say they have to remove the serial number...read their item listing in full. However, on eBay you are exposed to fraudulent sellers as I was with an iStick 30W that failed electronically in 4 weeks. If you recognise the seller on eBay you likely won't have a problem other than it costs too much. If FT have stock it takes them about 5 to 7 days to become shipped. Free shipping can take more than 3 weeks and if the shipment is over £25 you can be charged by HMRC. I keep my orders at about $35 (USD) and they pass through without charge. Faster shipping of course costs more....and is faster. HMRC will also charge on origin shipping costs to you. Also, Batteries for the iStick (18650 type) will likely not be shipped by air cargo. The findings of an earlier cargo aircraft crash (Dubai) has had an impact on freight by air, particularly batteries.

Kids(whatever) will see it in the street and elsewhere. I rarely smoked in the street and can't be bothered pulling a MOD brick out in a street either. Councils should keep to their prime remit of looking after the publicly financed estates they are charged with. Too many hand wringers in councils I think...and wasting our taxes doing it.
The bad stuff in streets like booze and bad mouth needs a crackdown by the police...and constantly. Bad stuff is not smoke/vape...ing.
