I had read on some of my first days on these boards about E-liquids and that some "fresh" can taste not right and you reject them out of hand. Stupidly I didn't follow the great advice thread for Newbies and went and bought a large 30ml Marlboro liquid from Freedom Vape, I hated it. Last night I got bored with my my usual Waffle flavour and wanted something with a bit more poke and smoke, so loaded up a cart with some of the Marlboro from Freedom Vape and it tastes amazing now, good throat hit and good taste. So since I went mad in those first few days and bought all manor of flavours that I rejected I am going to revisit some of them now I am a few weeks down the line and see what they are like. It appears e-liquids are a like a good bottle of wine, leave them and they can go from distinctly average to amazing in a few weeks

Not every kid who wears a hoody is a yob, but the troublemakers who are always seem to have one on for some reason. They obviously think they're invisible if they put the hood up. All three of these were wearing hoodies..... says it all really. Look on his face when he was checking behind him as I was lumoxing down the road was priceless, he looked seriously scared, as so he should be. Their logic in picking my car was fairly cracked, everything is inbuilt in my car so I don't have any devices, since CSI have left I had a good check and therre is nothing missing. Even my Bluetooth gizmo in my centre console is still there, so in fact they broke in, now have their prints on record and all for what..... nothing.

Brilliant River, lucky you got away with that, I so wish I had had "that" opportunity yesterday.... And Blakey, I do hope I don't end up in a house with one of these scrotes, I would not be as polite as you!
Just had a chat with the awesome CSI lady, she has got some excellent prints off the lighter I found and the car has some great prints as well so she is confident that they should get a match! The other thing she said was if I was to do some damage to a little scrote in the future if I keep the damage to the front of the body it's harder for anyone to prove, she also said she would like to leave me a scenes of crime suit so if I did accidentally decide to administer some "justice" my DNA would be lacking. As said, aswesome CSI lady!

Macca - totally agree, the law is geared towards the criminal and also the criminal knows the law, knows what to do to avoid a sentence whereapon the people who respect the law and are honest appear to be constantly victimised, I'm angry, firstly that I may have left the car open, secondly that someone had the nerve to go into my property and thirdly that I didn't catch the so and so, even though the third point may have not been a great idea!
Sandra - Yes, its what bugs me as well, even though recently the law has loosened a bit in regards to your right to protect your property it also comes with stipulations, because I chased them they were no longer a "threat" and as such I would have been in the wrong if I had adminstered my own form of justice.
Car is fine, no scratches or anything so as you say that's all good. Just cross that someone thinks it is their right to mess with my property.

You wouldn't believe it, I was settling down to watch the F1 at about 2:30 ish yeaterday, laid out on the sofa ready for the 2:45 kick off and suddenly my daughter screams from upstairs that someone is trying to break into my car. First of all I thought this just meant that some kids were hanging about near it and opened the front door with remote in one hand and my slippers on and there are three kids round the side of my car and one in it! Wish I had never had shouted at this point but I did and they took off with me not far behind, missed one of them by a few feet and gave chase. Got about 2 roads away at full chat (in my socks) and ran out of puff but all the neighbours had been alerted and were appearing from various directions, missus phoned 999 and to give them their due the police were there in minutes. We know where they went, we tried the usual places where kids would hide and nothing, so went back and talked to the nice Policeman about it. Now this is the bit that pissed me off, I'm not a small bloke (6" 5) and the policeman said that if I had caught one my first reaction would have been to stove his face into the nearest object (true) but he said that I would have been the one off the police station with him and the one probably prosecuted (but agreed he would have had the same reaction). So it's official, the world has gone mad, I can't protect my property and I may as well line up all my wordly goods for the scum of this world to help themselves to with little to no punishment. At about 5pm another neighbour spotted what she thought were the boys near the Abbey so we jumped in here car and yes, three boys looking identical to the ones I chased were now in different clothes (almost) so we pretended to walk past and the turned on them at the last minute and asked some "questions". It always amazes me the guilt that can come from one person, his first reaction when I said that I had chased him not 2 hours ago was "can you prove that mate?", and the others just pretended we weren't there and tried to front it out. Of course they all had an alibi, one even said he was on community service at the time....... ffs. So we left them to it (I had listened to Mr Plod's advice even though every part of me told me to grab his face and pile it into the nearest bit of stone), we told the police where they were and we also know their Dad's and we let them know that we knew who they were. Handy having a well connected neighbour and best mate. Later on we found my ipod earphones under the neighbours van and a lighter I had in the car that had run out of gas so have preserved the lighter for possible prints, CSI are out this morning to finger print the car so we will see what happens. There wasn't anything else to nick in there and the stupid s***'s didn't know how to open the secret compartment on the arm rest. How did they get into my car? That is a mystery, I am fantical about locking it, always watch for the indicators to flash but it does appear it must have been open. Both sets of keys were on the table so it is possible one of the children was playing with the keys and accidentally opened it or I did just leave it open. You honestly wouldn't believe it where I live, stuff like this doesn't happen round here and the policemen have the easiest job in the world, he even said things like this are very rare. Rant over, moral of story, make sure your car is locked,

Not medical advice, but I take some tablets that are metabolised through the liver and I also take a fair few pain killers, and the odd glass of wine............. Not sure if it's helpful or not but I tak the herbal remedy Milk thistle as it's supposed to support liver function So far I've had no dodgy liver tests Funny you say that, I bought some milk thistle today, read some good things about it.

We can't really give medical information on this forum so, if worried, please do see the doc. Fox I hear this and any advice is just to help my research, as Karma said going to the Dr is a great idea and in fact I am going Monday but I need to fully understand the larger picture here so at least I can have an educated talk with the Dr rather than a one sided conversation. As said, please don't feel like I am after an online Dr here I'm not, just some ideas to throw about so I can google and go armed with some info to make the conversation productive.

I really don't know, so its good that you're seeing the Doc. My worry is that your Doc will not have a great understanding of vaping and as this is new to you then it's easy to put 2+2 together It maybe that you will have to stop for a bit and try patches or something to see if you improve. My friend had her gal bladder removed last year. Gal bladder problems can make liver function test unreliable! a dodgy galblader will push up measurable liver enzymes and the liver tests will look as though you're drinking too much! I don't know enough about vaping and pg to really be able to comment. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that you need to look at vaping but don't let it stand in the way of looking at other posibilities! All noted and off to do some research, thank you, very helpful indeed.

When people give up a long term addiction the body objects in any number of ways, it could be something and nothing, but best to be safe as they say. Well done on giving up the booze, you'll probably find it's the best thing you've ever done, not just for yourself, but everyone else it affected too. The booze bit, well this is why I didn't think it was an issue, I was never a drinker during the day, had a hard a fast rule about not drinking during the day or in front of children etc so it really was only between 7pm and 10pm, this is what made it acceptable. In my eyes an alcholic was someone who rollled out of bed and went to the pub at 11am and drank all day. I was never drunk, never had hangovers, never let it affect life in any way shape or form, the only thing it was appearing to do was destroy my health. I have enough people around me to give me a massive slap if I step out of line so if they had identified it as a problem I would have known about it very quickly. A lot of people think that drinking every night is acceptable, it is until it becomes something to rely on as an emotional crutch, something I quite clearly did.

Out of interest Tim, is your 6mg juice also a different % PG to VG? 60/40 but I am using the same flavour, same supplier, just a different strength of nicotine.

Same as Steve, I'm wondering if it's the PG? See I was thinking it was PG or the nicotine and was worrying that I was somehow actually entering more nictoine into my system that I was used to but I was smoking 30 a day and my vaping is actually moderate, I'm not chain vaping. Also it's odd how today it feels better and I have dropped to 6mg, but of course this could very well be coincidence, as maybe any issues I'm having and vaping. I have actually spent the day identifying any changes I have made recently, I have even considered the possibility that the new fizzy water I bought may be at fault (it had huge trace elements in it) and went and bought some of my ususal water "just in case". It's a blooming mystery....

I'm sure I read somewhere about the effect PG can have on the liver. Try a google search for propylene glycol liver. Not sure if VG may be better or not, especially if you have an existing liver issue. Yes I did read something earlier and amongst the propoganda rubbish that is starting to appear the FDA says: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified propylene glycol as “generally recognized as "safe",” which means that it is acceptable for use in flavourings, drugs, and cosmetics, and as a direct food additive Now if I know the FDA and their reluctance to classify anything other than dangerous and potentially harmful (diet coke has had a receipe change recently because of a chemical in there that "may" be linked to cancer) the above statement is praise indeed.

Tim, I presume you were still smoking in January? Did the doc say that could be contributing to your problems? Were you offered any NRT to stop smoking, or did they feel that due to your problems NRT wouldn't be good? You're not by any chance taking paracetamol based pain killers or cold remedies? We didn't discuss the ciggies, they were adamant this was down to booze, I am the correct BMI for my height and weight so could not attribute bad diet to Liver issues. And no, the only things I have taken recently were some nurofen but have only had about 4 in the past 2 weeks so nothing untoward there either.
