Ah, but a coupla extra thoughts Perpetua and jtc : * I doubt this particular lot, working from a back room of a rented house, trade enough to make any practical difference to T-Juice (the company), and * It may be possible they actually have some agreement with the T-juice company to do so. Donno, although it does seem pretty unlikely to me. * This one example is not isolated. Lots and lots of different juice "brands" are being peddled on local face book groups. Most, I dare say (without evidence), are prolly simply mixing from downloaded recipes. Tjuice will actively pursue anyone large or small who engages in this type of activity that I do know Dave . . . . Chefs have also adopted a similar stance on those who come to light doing similar with their own brand one shots - people seem to think they're under the radar selling on via a Facebook group, they're not. And rightly so. As a further consequence of unauthorised retail use, there are a number of reasonably high profile DIYer's who have now set their recipes to ' Private ' on ELR. So the fact still remains that the few are prepared to spoil it for the many. Point of it was, I s'pose, when the Government tries a defacto prohibition it provides the environment for the gutter rats, shysters, sleezeballs and con-merchants to come crawling out. Pretty much the same with tobacco here actually. The Government imposed tax levies are now so high the underground blackmarket trafficking in tobacco is soaring. Organised crime are now importing sea-containers of smokes... Oh, err... sorry for the derail. Juice mixing? Well I tried a strong menthol mix yesterday - for the damned cold. ... Nah I'm using other peoples recipes mostly and I'm so grateful they share them ?? Scruples? You'll never make a fast buck with those! The other day, as a result of helping a friend get set up ( linky) I encountered someone selling e-juice. That's no big deal even around here. Charging a buck a mil for 10 mls isn't so far out of the question either. But when I saw their "menu" I knew they were real farce-book bottom feeders. Their list of juice flavours was a simple listing of all the T-Juice one shots. All theywere doing was mixing up the one shots with PG/VG (oh and that other ingredient iffn ya asked) then selling it via facebook groups. They were not even trying to hide it using the T-Juice flavour logos, names and everything... Oh dear I would think they'll end up in trouble with that on 😂 |
