I'm thinking of getting the mini I went for the lavatube premium starter kit, not the mini. They both work out at the same price as the discount applies to both

I'm thinking of getting one from greenhouse one as well it looks to be really good value and I don't 'need' it straight away, so I can wait for it if it's coming the slow way. I've been looking at buying a LT for the past few days so thankyou for posting those links i do like a bargain lol

My favourite flavour changes depending on how I'm feeling but at the moment I'd say it was blackcurrant

took a quick look at the spec - that's a super zoom range, but the lens is f3.1 - f5.8, so not very fast I have a Canon G11, with a f2.8 lens and find that it really struggles n lower light and with things that move. The downside with bridge cameras is that their sensors are still very small compared to DSLR, so they don't cope too well in high contrast situations. I often have the problem of highlights being to bright and shadows too dark. That being said, I still love it for it's compactrness and ease of use. Are those the Pentax specs? I'm not hugely knowledgable when it comes to cameras in all honesty that was the main reason I didnt go for a DSLR. I suppose I couldn't warrant spending so much money on one that I wasn't going to use to its full potential. The Pentax is perfect for me, it gets good pics of fast moving ratties lol and it's just the right size for me to take out and about. If I'm honest lol the lens f thingy doesn't make much sense to me :-[

Now don't quote me on this but a bridge camera means that it's not a digital camera, but not a full blown DSLR camera either, it's kind of in between so 'a bridge' between the two. A bridge camera gives you the ease of use of a normal digital camera ie. point and shoot, but you get some of the features that DSLR's have such as extended zoom and the ability to mess around with aperture (I don't really use that on mine) Hope that makes sense In terms of ease of use, mine is super easy! You can stick it on auto mode and it pretty much does everything for you, all you need to do is press the button. Crikey I didn't realise they were that pricey! I got mine from Argos but they don't seem to be selling it anymore ( I think it must have been a sale or something when I bought it )

I've got a pentax x90, it's a bridge camera and really easy to use. It's got a massive 26x zoom which comes in handy for pics of insects and stuff and I use mine to take pics of my rats who are constantly on the move lol and I manage to get some pretty good shots of them When I bought it last year it was £219 so I'm not sure how much it is now but it might be a little more than you're looking to spend? I really recommend it though!

I'd give it 2-3days at least Bee, if you can . . . test then adjust if needs be, then leave it for a couple more days. Personally, I leave everything for a week before testing it as Gordy says . . . great to hear you're having a go at mixing and enjoying it by the sounds of things. I am enjoying it so far its actually easier than I thought it would be, although I don't think I would be able to manage without the ejuice me up download lol It's just difficult knowing I can't have a taste of them just yet, its soo tempting lol
